Great driving tour to get a taste of Belize City - I did this tour with my mom and my teenage sons. We were lucky to have Aaron as our tour guide. He took us all around Belize City, pointing out landmarks and important buildings, and teaching us about Belize history and culture. We only stopped a couple times and mostly looked at things through the van windows, but it was still good. The Belizean food, rum, and ice cream we tried were all excellent. I'm sad we don't have a way to get that Belize food at home! Definitely recommended if you are in Belize City for a few hours!

Bites and Treats - Aaron was a fantastic tour leader. He was very knowledgeable as a local on all questions and explaining the history and culture. We were able to eat several of the local favorites. We did have another family join us on this tour, and they added to our conversations. Please note this tour time is the local time, which for us was different from ship time.

Best tour in belize - We have been on a few tours now but this was the best and the best value for money. Our guide Miguel went over and above what he was meant to do and the tour was a bit longer than stated. You got to hear about the whole history of Belize. The “bites” was a full on meal of local traditional dishes at a local cafe/restaurant with a fresh fruit bottle of juice of your choice. The food was delicious! We then went to a fruit stall which sold all the Fruits you could want to try. The rum tasting was amazing and you could taste all the rums. This shop sold the rums and other items that you would want at a reasonable prices. We left with some goodies. The final stop was at scoops ice cream where they had traditional Belizian ice creams and round the world ice creams. Nothing was too much trouble for Miguel we left a $20 US dollar tip which I wish it could have been more as it was so worth it. So don’t eat anything before you go. Very highly recommended and would go on it again.

Great City Tour and Food Tasting - Our tour guide was Aaron and he was extremely knowledgeable of the city and country and had deep roots in Belize. He gave us so much history of the area. We made 3 stops. One for the taquitos and empanadas, one for rum tasting and last stop for ice cream. It was a nice little tour and Aaron was an excellent tour guide.

Really good and informative. Go hungry!! - You ride on a bus. Very little walking which was good for me since I need a new hip! It was very informative and the food was tasty, Our guide was sweet!

Most authentic city tour possible with the kindest tour guide - One of the best experiences we had in Belize: both in the city and on the cayes. Aaron was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. His tour really immersed us in the Belize city culture and allowed us to understand both the way of life and the people of the region. Aaron was also just entirely lovely on his own: a man who truly took care of us and cared about our experiences and also had lots of good advice to share. If we’re ever in Belize City again we will certainly be hitting Aaron up!

Take this tour!!! - Due to weather our tour started about 2 hours late, which made my group very anxious about the duration of the tour and getting back to the ship in time. Therefore, we were skeptical as the tour started. However, our guide Aaron turned our experience around. He was very knowledgeable on his country and very engaging. I loved that he gave us food from a local authentic business and fed hungry children along the way. The tour was very enjoyable, accessible for everyone, and informative. The soursop ice cream we had and view of the city was a unique experience .I would recommend the tour to everyone who wants to immerse themselves in authentic Belize culture.

You must try the Rumpope! - What a lovely tour! My friend and I had an amazing time. It was our first day in Belize and this tour was a great introduction to it. Manuel was very knowledgeable, funny, and attentive. I would love to take another tour was him. Don’t forget to try the Rumpope during the rum tasting and take advantage of the 2 for $1 usd rum tasting! Also, communication with viator was great, very responsive.

Wouldn’t recommend - We had to eat in the van. Messy food, and no tables or cup holders. Air conditioning in the van was too loud to hear the driver. Would not recommend.
