A Very Interesting City - We were on an Eastern Danube river cruise. On Friday 26th July, 2024, we docked in Belgrade. Serbia was a country we had never visited previously. A coach transported us around the city. First stop was Kalemegdan Park. The excellent tour guide showed us the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. We learned about the history of Belgrade and Serbia. Later we continued with a walking tour of central Belgrade. The city has many beautiful buildings. The guide explained the important buildings with the relevant history. The weather was very hot and we briefly paused for refreshments in a city hotel. After a long tour of the city, the final stop was St. Sava's Orthodox Temple. This is an architectural masterpiece with it's mosaic and marble features. The tour gave us an insight into this lovely city regarding the history and cultures. Belgrade is a very impressive and vibrant city. Would recommend an excursion of the city if you get the chance.

Excellent tour, worth every second! - Brilliant experience with a very knowledgeable tour guide! I was travelling solo but he made me feel so comfortable from the get go and made the tour so personable and enjoyable. We stopped for a coffee on the way and after it was done I had a deeper understanding of the history of Belgrade, Serbia and its people. I would recommend to anyone who wants to know more about the origins of Serbia and gain an appreciation of its people.

Great tour.. - I recommend taking this tour especially for those who will stay only for shorter time. You will never know how vibrant the city with lots of story about the place if you dont take walking tour. Aleksandar is really knowledgeable about the place and we learn a lot from him. We had few stops like buying delicious ice cream and trying traditional coffee. It was great experience!!!!

Excellent all around experience. - Excellent all around experience. We had an infant with a stroller and Alex was very accommodating. Viator make it impossible sometimes to leave good reviews. I am already going out of my way leaving this one. Please take it or leave it.

An easy walk around the main highlights in Belgrade. - We enjoyed learning Serbian history, and the Turkish coffee at the end. The only downside was losing some of what was said due to traffic noise.

Could be better! - I thought there would be more information about Kalamegdan Fortress. Next tours should be improved, if possible!
