- Manasija Monastery - Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to our first stop, Manasija Monastery, nestled among the green hills of the vibrant Resava gorge. Built in the early 15th century during the reign of Despot Stefan Lazarevic, the complex is encircled by 12 towers designed to protect the Church of Saint Trinity from the Ottomans. The Manasija monastery fortification, with its walls and towers, is the best-preserved fortification complex in medieval Serbia. The monastery’s frescoes are considered one of the greatest achievements of medieval Serbian art, making it a true gem of Serbian medieval culture.
- Resavska Cave - The tour continues to the 80-million-year-old Resava Cave, discovered by a local shepherd in 1962 and opened to the public ten years later. Today, it is one of the most visited caves in this part of Europe, known for its rich cave formations like stalagmites and stalactites. The tunnels stretch for 4.5 km, with over 2 km explored and 800 m accessible to visitors. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 7°C year-round, with air humidity between 80 and 100%. The cave tour lasts 40 minutes, so warm clothing is recommended.
- Vodopad Veliki Buk - Next, we head to Lisine waterfall, one of Eastern Serbia’s top attractions. Here, in this stunning location, we will take a lunch break, offering you the chance to try the best trout fish in Serbia.
- Krupajsko Vrelo - Our journey continues to Krupaj Spring, located 30 km from Lisine Waterfall on the west side of Beljanica Mountain. This karst spring is one of the most beautiful in Eastern Europe, with its turquoise waters sure to leave you breathless.
- Belgrade - We then drive back to Belgrade (2 hours) and drop you off at your accommodation.

Perfect! - Excellent! Every stop was amazing and very interesting. Beautiful viewings, perfect experience! Jelena our guide was the best! Explained everything we saw on our way and shared very interesting information and facts about the country and the culture. Even took great pictures of us. Very sweet and professional at the same time!

Beautiful impressions of the Serbian mountains in the southeast taken away - ES was a very nice, varied day. I particularly liked the tour guide Jelena. The bus driver also did a great job. The waterfall didn't have that much water, but in summer, of course, that can happen. I was particularly impressed by the monastery complex.

A perfect day – unforgettable cave and amazing guide - I highly recommend booking this trip! The itinerary was very well thought out – each stop was just the right length, giving us time to explore without feeling rushed. The scenery throughout the day was absolutely beautiful, and every location felt special in its own way.
Our guide, Nina, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone in our small group felt included. She answered all our questions with enthusiasm and added great context to what we were seeing.
My favorite part of the day was definitely the cave – it's a true hidden gem and absolutely worth seeing in person.
Overall, this trip was well-organized, relaxing, and memorable. A perfect way to experience more of the region!

The highlight of my travels in the Balkans - Taking this tour with Nina was like going on a fun trip with your best friend. She was a total delight from start to finish. Very personable, friendly, funny, informative and professional. She led us through natural highlights filled with excellent stories about each location. The monastery visit was particularly informative from a historical perspective and very inspiring. Nina made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. She wakes us through options at lunch, treated us with two varieties of local rakija. Tasty and with a souvenir glass to take home. Her balance of Serbian history, personal stories and reflections on the area as well as time for us to just absorb the scenery in quiet silence all made for a memorable trip. As a guide, Nina excels in her role. Not only as someone who knows the area, but a true ambassador of the country and region. Of all my tour guides in years of trips, she clearly thanks as my #1 choice. I’d follow her anywhere. Thanks to Sacha for safe driving up, down and the hills. An amazing day trip! Thank you!
