Unlike its European counterparts, the heart of Belgrade spans quite a large region. Its reach extends from the Stari Grad city municipality to the Vracar municipality. Our journey commences with a visit to the Belgrade Fortress-Kalemegdan, which stands as the core of the city. It is a hub of cultural activity and is considered the prime attraction for tourists visiting the Serbian capital. Moreover, Kalemegdan houses the monument to the winner, an iconic symbol of Belgrade, about which our guide will provide an in-depth historical account. Our path then leads to Kneza Mihaila Street, renowned as the most popular street in Belgrade, boasting a pedestrian-only zone. Later, we proceed to Vracar to marvel at the biggest Orthodox church in the Balkans. Visible from every entry point to the city, this majestic church stands tall in the city skyline. Following our visit to this church, we circle back to Terazije, marking the end of our journey.
