- Ada lake - With its unique microclimate, Ada Lake is a true oasis just four kilometers from Belgrade’s center. Known for its natural beauty, diverse sports activities, and numerous restaurants, Ada Ciganlija has become a favorite spot for both locals and tourists seeking relaxation, recreation, and entertainment. During hot summer days, thousands of Belgrade residents flock here to cool off, swim, and enjoy the peninsula surrounded by the Sava River and Sava Lake. This frequent visitation has earned it the nickname “Belgrade’s seaside,” thanks to its well-maintained and attractive beaches, making it the city’s premier swimming and picnic destination.
- Sava River - The Sava River in Belgrade is famous for its floating rafts, holiday homes, and river entertainment, many of which have been converted into restaurants offering unique atmospheres and some of the best nightlife in Belgrade.
- Brankov Bridge - This bridge connects the city center with New Belgrade across the Sava River. Built in 1956 on the foundations of the 1934 King Alexander Bridge, which was destroyed during World War II, it reconnected Belgrade and Zemun as the only motorway bridge at the time. After several official and unofficial names, it was eventually named after Brankova Street, which leads into the bridge from the old section of Belgrade.
- Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress - One of the two oldest fortresses in Europe.
- Nebojsa Tower - Constructed around 1460 on the riverbank at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, this tower stands about 22 meters high. It was built by the Hungarians to protect the medieval port and prevent Turkish access to the Danube harbor. Belgrade was a trading crossroads between Venice and Istanbul, serving as a watchtower and defensive rampart. For decades, it successfully thwarted Turkish advances into central Europe. The great Greek revolutionary Rigas Feraios was executed here. Legend has it that the tower was impregnable; after heavy fighting, when the Turks nearly captured the entire Belgrade fortress, the tower supposedly soared into the air and relocated to the Lower Town, remaining out of Turkish reach. It stands today as a testament to its invincibility.
- Great War Island - This mysterious spot in the heart of the capital offers a chance to discover rare bird species in a surreal wilderness setting. Exploring this “Belgrade’s jungle,” you can take a break at Lido to swim, relax, and enjoy the sandy beach with a beautiful view of Zemun. The tour continues downriver, passing by the island’s wilderness and concluding where it began. The stunning view from the river, passing beneath bridges and showcasing the city’s last-century architecture on one bank and modern nightclubs on the other, has been a privilege for only a few until now.
- Zemunski kej - Zemun, with its surreal and mysterious charm, is one of the most beautiful parts of the capital. Located on the right bank of the Danube, near the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, Zemun boasts an authentic atmosphere and unique charm. Each corner reveals remarkable cultural and historic monuments like the famous Tower in Gardoš, the Theatre, and the Madlenianum Opera, along with numerous shops of forgotten trades and galleries.
- Novi Belgrade - The communist-era part of Belgrade, built after World War II.
