- Mokra Gora - After a pleasant ride, arrival coincides with the departure of the renowned Šargan Eight scenic train. This unique narrow-gauge railway now serves purely for entertainment. Several stops at viewpoints during the ride offer spectacular views over Mokra Gora. Authentic carriages with wooden seats, wood-burning stoves, and distinctive rattling sounds transport us back to 1925, when this railway first connected Belgrade to the Adriatic Sea.
- Drvengrad - Following a 1.5-hour ride, return to the departure station and continue to nearby Mećavnik, also known as Drvengrad (Wooden City). The acclaimed director Emir Kusturica, a two-time Palme d’Or winner at Cannes, built it during the filming of his movie “Life Is a Miracle.” He chose to relocate and restore dilapidated wooden chalets from the mountain slopes, equipping them with luxurious amenities to create a new settlement. Here, enjoy a traditional lunch featuring Western Serbia’s famous cuisine, known for its irresistible flavors and spice (not included). After the meal, there will be free time for relaxation before continuing the tour.
- Drina River House - Soon after, arrive at Bajina Bašta, a quaint town at the base of Mt. Tara. Here, see the world-renowned attraction, “The House on the Drina,” a solitary log cabin perched on a river stone. A photograph of this structure was featured in National Geographic’s ‘Photo of the Day’, and it quickly became one of the most photographed sites in the Balkans.
- Gate of Podrinje - The final stop of the day is the famous viewpoint, “Kapija Podrinja.” From here, enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.
- Belgrade - Finally, return home through the unspoiled nature of the Povlen mountains. After a journey of approximately two and a half hours, including one stop, arrive in Belgrade in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotels marks the end of services.
