Fascinating - Fabulous museum that is not just about the dreadful tragedy of the sinking. It's and evolutionary story of the ship building company and the Belfast ship yards. The labour and skills that went into building so many ship. The Titanic story takes you on an in depth journey from the build to testing, events that lead to the disaster and a very sombre remembrance to those that perished along with some significant items. To the discovery of the wreck so many years later. There are many brilliant photo's that take you back to that time in history.

Don't miss it! - Very well done, very interesting, especially the prehistory to industrialisation, to Belfast. Be sure to factor in enough time (2.5h is too little...).

Make it later on the day! - What a lovely experience to learn, its a self guided tour and it tell you you the stories of the Titanic, as well as the people and city that made her. Duration of our tour was 2 hours, Make sure you book it later on the day as we found it so compact and have to wait until the people finished reading, that was the only issue. There are restaurant, but you have to wait to be seated, especially The Pantry not sure about the other, if any allergies please make sure what's in the food. Irish Stew is a must to try. There are souvenir shops too, Make sure you wrap up warm when you outside, because it can be windy this time off month.

Nice tour of the Titanic museum and Whiskey Tasting - Our guide met us a few minutes before the scheduled time and provided a great overview of local area history. The Titanic museum was excellent. We also toured the local Titanic hotel where our guide took us through some of the historic rooms. and shared more insight regarding the building's history. Whiskey tasting was a bit of a walk (15-20 min). Our guide kept the walk lively by providing local area insight.

The Titanic Was Built in Belfast. - This museum covers the history of ship building in Belfast and of the construction and sinking of the Titanic in detail. The museum is relatively new and uses a variety of media to explain the history. You can easily devote 2-3 hours to your visit.

Overcrowded Chaos - Too crowded to get the full experience of the museum. Staff seemed disinterested and disorganized. We had pre purchased our tickets as we were warned that it was a popular attraction. I assumed this meant that once capacity was reached, some unfortunate people would be denied access. That was an incorrect assumption. It was uncomfortable full. Staff were unable to direct us to where we were to pick up our pre purchased headsets and sent us up and down the levels twice in their confusion. One staff was so busy talking to his colleague he didn’t even look at us when we spoke to him and answered us. Overall the museum was well done. I just wish we could have enjoyed it more.

Disappointing Experience - Went here on a trip from a cruise ship docked in Belfast on Saturday 14th June. Obviously the date and time of arrival (around 11.00am) were not controlled by us. Nor was the weather which was torrential rain. On entering the building we were handed the electronic devices to hear commentary. As soon as we entered the displays our devices stopped working (along with several others around us) and no-one then to assist. I have never experienced so many people in one area at a time. It was impossible to move forward and people were still entering behind us. We persevered on that floor for a while until it became impossible to see or get near the exhibits and finally gave up and exited the way we had entered. Obviously we saw very little and I explained this to the young lady when handing back the devices and asked if there was a limit to how many persons were admitted at any one time. She just shrugged and walked way. So disappointed with this Museum as have heard good reports from others. I just feel there is a Health & Safety problem here if numbers are not restricted.
