You will need at least 2 hours to see everything. - From beginning to end, this was an immersive experience not to be missed. The exhibits were fantastic, and the artefacts were so interesting. The ride up the tower was good as you were amongst thousands of riveters. No wonder some went deaf. We went at 9am and it was busy by half past. There's an underground car park but we didn't use it as we were in a motorhome. We used an all day car park across the road. The cafe was full at lunchtime, and the only alternative was the Pantry but the food wasn't our taste.

Big Ship, Bigger Day Out - If you’re in Belfast and fancy a day out that’s part history lesson, part art gallery, part engineering marvel, and part “Wow, I didn’t know that!”, then Titanic Belfast is your unsinkable option. (Too soon? Never in Belfast.) Conveniently moored just a short hop from the city centre, the museum sits like a giant silver iceberg rising from the former shipyards – which feels both poetic and slightly cheeky. Parking? Sorted. There’s a handy underground car park right beneath the museum, which means you won’t have to trek through wind and rain while herding children like soggy sheep. Inside, it’s a feast for the senses – and for inquisitive minds of all ages. You’ll find nine interactive galleries covering everything from Belfast’s industrial boom to the ship’s tragic maiden voyage. It’s a surprisingly fun way to teach the kids about a slice of history that’s not only global but deeply rooted in Northern Irish identity. There’s even a little ride (yes, a ride) through the shipbuilding process, which adds a bit of theme park magic without the smell of candyfloss and existential dread. And it’s not just about boats and boilers. On my visit, the museum was also hosting an exhibition of Terry Bradley’s artwork – a bold, Belfast-born collection that added a splash of colour and grit to the already rich storytelling. It’s these kinds of unexpected extras that make you feel like you’ve definitely got your money’s worth. Need a breather between fact absorption? There’s food and drink on site, with cafés offering everything from coffee and cake to more substantial fare – all served without the need to abandon ship. One small warning: Titanic Belfast is no secret. It can get very busy, particularly on weekends and during school holidays when it feels like half the island has had the same idea. Booking online is not just recommended – it’s a survival tactic. Avoid the queues, secure your slot, and glide in like a seasoned sailor. All in all, Titanic Belfast is an engaging, educational, and surprisingly entertaining way to spend a few hours. Whether you’re a history buff, a curious tourist, or a parent trying to convince your children that museums aren’t boring, this one delivers. Big time. A must-see, a must-book, and a must-not-miss piece of Northern Irish heritage. Just maybe don’t shout, “I’m the king of the world” on the top deck… unless you’re fully committed.

Worth a visit - A must see! Had a great tour on a Monday. Having the Nomadic in the next slip was special. But what made it best was Katelyn- the crew member who helped us enjoy the experience.

Low 4 out of 5 due to cramming people into the place ! - Overall the experience here was okay, the experience was good but have to wonder if it’s worth the £53.90 for two people. The whole experience took us around 2hrs to complete. My issue was it was very busy so you couldn’t relax and take your time reading through the information,,, as we were crammed in meaning people were constantly wanting you to move. Worth a visit as there is some interesting information around the building and sinking of the titanic. Also very interesting to see the outline of the ship outside (which you don’t need to pay to see!) Most interesting part for me was the messages from the titanic to other vessels in the area at the time of the collision. All in all I’d say a low 4 out of 5, which could be improved if they limit the amount of people they let in to ensure you have the time to read the material.

Interesting experience. Worth a visit. - Visited on a bank holiday Monday, not to busy. A great piece of architecture and impressive on the inside too. We did the tour which is a walk through experience for the first part, then a small ride which is interesting and then great views over the launch site and finishing off with the finding of the wreck. It took us a couple of hours and we enjoyed it. There is a gift shop along with a cafe and bar outside opposite. We walked from city hall which took around twenty minutes, it's a lovely walk around the quay with plenty to e on the way. Tickets cost £27

A educational and informative visit - When booking, you need to specify your preferred time slot. We arrived quite early ally for ours, and so went went to the shop to buy souvenirs and collect out programme, and captain teddy. When we presented our tickets, the lady advised us to put the stuff in a locker on a lower floor, so that we wouldn’t have to carry it around with us, which we did. The tour was great, and really informative. We enjoyed it all, including the ride through history. In some places it became quite congested due to people lingering, but that is down to customers, not the attraction. It took us about 90 minutes to walk around, and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we saw. We will definitely return the next time we’re are in Belfast

It was underwhelming - We were excited to see the Titanic museum and went into it with a very positive attitude. The historical context of Belfast the time before and during the time of the construction of the Titanic was thorough. I think we would’ve enjoyed the entire tour more if we had a guide who was explaining the various exhibits to us. By the time we got to the part about the actual voyage of the Titanic and the people on board we had read and followed many static exhibitions. It was also a disconcerting use of lights that made me feel dizzy and my companion as well. The Museum did not capture for us the emotion of the Titanic and the loss of lives in the tragedy of it all.

Yes, but... for the price, we must start an evolution like what is done at Puy dy Fou - While in Belfast all our guests spoke of this museum as a success. We didn't want to miss the experience. Only the first Icerberg that chilled us was the price. More than 100 euros to 4 people including a child. This is the price of some amusement parks. We were really expecting something great. Only from the first rooms we lost the horizon. At this rate, we would have had to add 5 euros per person to get the audio guide in French. A joke? In the next few rooms, single image projections with a bunch of texts but mostly people clumping in front so that it was almost impossible to see objects or documents. The general spirit shown is well understood. A little partisan though. But it's well done. The arrival at the course in gondola is well seen. But the contents are a little empty. However, in French or other languages. The end of the course brings little and the shipwreck is finally mentioned but without causing to feel it. In the end, it is a beautiful tribute to this ship and to the drama. To British industry too. But this would merit a real evolution to bring the visitor to live in different scenes from beginning to end. Instead of having lots of rooms with pictures and text we could have an actor who tells the story and really brings things to life. A bit like the courses at Puy du Fou. The gondola route could better engage visitors with something other than small, overly visible screens and little in the end. And the end of the ship make live there again with actors. Without going so far as the Uboat attraction at Movieland Park, really experience the end of the ship and the anguish of the passengers. With personnel in period dress. Smoke, cold, the feeling that everything is eaten. There is enormous potential. Especially with the next studio which could bring another dimension. As it stands, it's a fine tribute. But not at this rate that demands better for a family that comes from far away.

Bad experience - You need an explanation to understand each option in the price. The displays are unclear. And we explain that you have to wait two hours before starting the tour because they regulate the flow of visitors!!! It’s Tuesday, August 12 at 10:30 and there are no crowds.... So we decided to go elsewhere!

Make better choices - Very heavy on text based information which left our family with many questions as often we were unable to read the information due to tourist crowds and small writing. Herded from one weird lay out to another. Very dark and no flow. The apauling photo opportunity at the end was so out of context with the poignant death toll and passenger list on the floor above. We couldn't bring ourselves to even venture into the gift shop which also felt ill judged considering the subject matter of the experience. Left feeling sad that we had wasted our money for those to profit off this terrible tragedy. A nice memorial at the doc side with some information and idea of the scale of this great ship may be a better way of learning from the past. Please do not waste your money
