- Lagan Weir and Lookout -  You’ll pass along the river Lagan, look out to Sea/See the area now known as the Titanic Quarter and discover the Waterfront hall. (ICC Belfast)

As we explore, I’ll share stories of its past, present, and future, illustrating how the city has evolved and thrived. We’ll begin at Belfast City Hall, uncover the historic Entries where Belfast originated, and stroll along the River Lagan to see the ICC Exhibition Centre and Waterfront Hall. We’ll then pass by the Big Fish, gaze at the birthplace of the Titanic, and continue through the Cathedral Quarter, discovering street art along the way.

Fantastic - The walking tour was amazing, was fun to enter into hidden out of the way local pubs,visit lesser known churches and hear all the history leading up to present day.

Great unique tour! - We loved Marty’s eclectic tour! Seeing the street art and learning the history of Belfast through Marty’s perspective was wonderful. It was one of my favorite experiences while in Ireland!

Marti made the tour Eclectic and so interesting. Thank You - What a fun and informative tour!! We were shown so much of the city with history, stories and meeting people, a few little surprises were thrown in too. Wonderful recommendations for food, sights and entertainment. Marti knows so much he is a wealth of information. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

Great walking tour of Belfast city - Had a great walking tour with Marti as our guide. His knowledge of Belfast was amazing and we would highly recommend Marti to travellers looking at a local who was easy to understand and friendly as well. Walk was easy and enough rest stops if required. Good mixture old and new. Great.

Really interesting and memorable guide! - Marti is very knowledgeable and his tour was really interesting ( and eclectic!). He takes you to all kinds of little spots like alleys and pubs giving nuggets of history that make this tour so memorable. We've done many walking tours in different cities and he's not your typical umbrella carrying, scripted joke repeating guide which was great for us. If you want something different and still see the key historic points of interest then it's right for you and it definitely was for us. Thanks Marti and enjoy your gardening!

Important Themes Throughout - An excellent tour with a very knowledgeable Guide. Marti took time to learn what the group's interests were and tailored the tour accordingly. During his narration Marti consistently wove in the themes of "what can we do to better the lives of others?" equality and sustainability and highlighted the evolution of city from a troubling time to it's current multi-cultural vibrancy. We walked a good portion of the city in 3h exploring many nooks and crannies. Highly recommend this tour if you only have a short time visiting

Important Themes Throughout - This was an excellent walking tour of Belfast. Our Guide, Marti, was a fountain of knowledge regarding the history of Ireland and the evolution of Belfast through troubled times into the vibrant multi-cultural city of today. Throughout his narrative Marti wove in important themes such as "What can we do to better the lives of others", equality and sustainability. We walking a good portion of the City in 3h exploring many nooks and crannies and even got to sample a "Next Generation" Guinness in a local Pub - it was delicious. Highly recommend this tour particularly if your time in Belfast is limited. One tip would be to get to the City Hall meeting point early and explore the interior of the building.

Eclectic Walking Tour of Belfast - Tour took in quite a lot of the center of Belfast. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but his delivery of the information was a bit disjointed. He bounced subjects around quite a bit. Needed to find our way back to starting point by ourselves after being left off quite a distance away and walking quite a bit. Learned a lot about the city's history. I would investigate a different tour next time.
