Black Cab tour - This was a tour recommended to us. We are so very glad to have done it. We had the AMAZING Brendan. His depth of knowledge was incredible. He took us on a journey to the past and provided a non-biased view of a world that was uncertain and violent. He explained the Peace Gates still close at night, even today. The wall that separates the Catholics from the Protestants is still there. The murals, the Peace Wall the headquarters of Sinn Féin... all were visited. Brendan explained each one and the part they played. Key historical sites were visited on the Protestants side as well, so a very balanced tour was provided. Brendan answered every question we had. He constantly asked if we were ok and we asked if he was OK too. You will hear some pretty harrowing stories that occurred during The Troubles. Highly recommend this tour, and I hope you get Brendan! He's a legend!

Best last minute decision we ever made - We were a group of 18 people that booked at the last minute. Our 3 guides were phenomenal. Our tour was beyond amazing. It was honest, heartfelt and emotional. A visit to Belfast MUST include this Black Taxi Tour. Thank you for making our experience of Belfast even more memorable

Review for Tony— a tour to remember - Review for Tony – A Tour to Remember Tony was our driver, and from the moment he greeted us—punctual and exactly where he said he’d be—we knew we were in good hands. What followed wasn’t just a tour, but a deeply moving introduction to the city’s past and present. Tony’s explanations were thorough and heartfelt, weaving together the events that shaped the region with clarity and compassion. His passion was palpable as he guided us through the highlights, not just recounting what happened, but exploring why it happened and how such conflicts might be prevented—not only here, but across the world. It was more than sightseeing; it was a lesson in empathy, history, and hope. Thanks again- Greg and Warren

Black taxi political tour . Alan was our taxi driver , he has been giving this tour for over 20 years and was very good - Alan was our taxi driver , Alan was very experienced and knowledgeable about the area and the troubles that occurred in Belfast from 1969 to 1998. Alan showed us an actual rubber bullet and spoke graphically and honesy about all the events that unfolded. Alan let us out of the taxi many times for pictures .

Impressive - It was interesting. If I had more time I would have done a walking tour probably because you get more info for your pound, because walking tours last three hrs and are cheaper.
