Truly Excellent Troubles Walking Tour - We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our DC Tour yesterday with our guide, Mylie. As an Irish person who has lived abroad on the continent for over 30 years, yet followed Ireland’s political developments closely, I found it truly remarkable to listen to her compelling, engaging, and concise account of Ireland’s complex history. She skilfully and passionately explained the intertwined complex events and relationships that ultimately led to the Troubles. Mylie struck an excellent balance: she conveyed the darker moments and key milestones of the past with sensitivity, while also sharing a positive and energetic vision for the future. Her deep knowledge, clear structure, and articulate delivery made the experience both hugely insightful and memorable. The tour was well worth the time and investment, and we will certainly be back. Many thanks to Mylie for such an outstanding experience.

I never write reviews but.... - Steve was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He spoke effortlessly, never needing to pause to think about what to say next. He encouraged questions and ensured the groups safety at all times. He's filled with knowledge from the times of The Troubles and also speaks from unbiased experience. I was hooked on his every word and would definitely recommend this tour!

Make the time to do this, it’s superb, and better than the other tours! - Mylie the tour lady was superb. Very knowledgeable, and this is a must do on any trip to Ireland to really understand the history. Not only very knowledgeable, but clearly passionate about the subject, and talks about about the people aspect on the troubles a lot which was really thought provoking. A MUST DO!

Understanding The Troubles in Belfast! - We absolutely loved this tour! 2.5 hours of rich history covering the conflict that has plagued Northern Ireland for generations. Started with a brief history of Ireland for a solid foundational perspective, then we roamed the streets seeing 1st hand where violence plagued the city.

Very good tour - Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable tour guide (Chris) and comprehensive coverage on a very complicated topic. Even though the tour was neutral it was not any less moving or thought provoking and it did not shy away from controversial issues. In fact I think being able to present that part of the history from neither the unionist nor the nationalist standpoint allowed it to be presented from the standpoint of shared humanity. 100% recommended.

Well worth it - We received an amazing insight into the Troubles, especially as Chris did his utmost to stay neutral between the two sides of the conflict. Anyone interested in recent Irish history will benefit from such a tour.
