A wonderful insight into the history of Belfast. - We booked this tour through our hotel. Our driver/tour guide Gerard was amazing as he had lived through these troubled times. This would have to be the best tour we have done.

A must do when in Belfast! - You must do this tour, picked up at our hotel, my wife and I had 2 hours personal tour with Ricky, so informative and balanced to telling the history from both sides. Ricky’s personal history brought another dynamic to the tour and being of similar age, it was interesting to hear and see sights from his upbringing that I had heard and seen on news footage throughout the years. Don’t get a quick view from the top of a bus, spend that little bit extra and get a tour you will never forget!

Highlight of our week in Northern Ireland - We booked this tour via the Visit Belfast Office and experienced the highlight of our week in Northern Ireland. Davey was our driver and tour guide and he was excellent giving us a detailed tour interspersed with lots of personal experiences growing up during the Troubles. You see both sides of the history of Belfast from the late 60's through to the current peace status. It is a raw, thought provoking and humbling experience. Thank you so much Davey for the information you shared, your memories and your humour.

Black Taxi Tour with Davey - We did this trip on Thursday, the 20th of June, our taxi driver was called Davey. He had grown up through ‘the troubles’ and gave us an extremely personal and informative tour. It was humbling listening to the trauma he had encountered through his childhood, adolescence through to adult hood and how this had affected his life, along with the people of Belfast from both sides of the conflict. We would highly recommend this tour and you would find it an added bonus if Davey was your tour guide

Poor service and minimal communication - Tour was cancelled at the last minute with no proactive reach-out from the company. We had to call the tour operator to ask if they were still coming to collect our party of 9 and only after we reached out were we informed that they had to cancel on us at the last-minute. No preemptive email, no phone call, no offer to connect us with another company or suggestions for other tours they could offer in place of this cancelled one. Just a flat cancellation after we were all gathered in a hotel lobby awaiting a fun experience together as a family. Extremely disappointing. I’d advise choosing another operator for your needs.
