- Mutianyu Great Wall - The driver will pick you up at your hotel, it’s about one and half hour to drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. The start time is flexible. During the holiday or weekends, it’s better to start earlier to avoid the crowds.
Upon arrival, your driver will assist with tickets and then leave you to explore independently. Optional extras include a ride to the top of the wall by cable car and a toboggan ride back down (both own expense). Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around three hours at the wall to hike and take photos.
After the wall visiting ，the driver will take you back your hotel in Beijing.tour ends.

Our chauffeur will meet you in your hotel’s lobby. You will then embark on a 1.5-hour journey from Beijing city to the less frequented but stunning Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, where you can hike to your heart’s content. The Mutianyu Great Wall is renowned for its picturesque environment, featuring lush forests and verdant meadows that shift hues with each passing season. Following your excursion, we will arrange your return to the hotel.

Recommended for a solo traveller - Jenny is very responsive and accommodating. She initiated cancellation and refund of my booking because the great wall was closed due to typhoon. Then was perfectly rescheduled for the next day which is my flight date. Just when I thought I won’t be able to see the Great wall, she made it happen. My driver, Jack, is very friendly as well. Given that I am a solo traveller, I felt so safe with him.

Great service, highly recommended! - Our private transfer to the Great Wall was fantastic! Our driver was friendly and super helpful. On arrival, he escorted right to the top and helped get tickets and skip lines. Once we were on the wall, he explained where each tower was and left us to explore.
Definitely worth the money and would recommend to anyone!
Note: make sure you have cash to buy the cable car tickets ¥140 each. (We only had card so our driver paid for us, we then went to an ATM so wasn’t an issue but just a little bit more admin 😄)
Also make sure you have your passport or a picture of your passport on your phone. Like most ticketed locations in Beijing, you need to show ID on arrival.

Great tour - Visiting the Great Wall is a must. You should go early to avoid the crowd. Our driver Mr. Guo was excellent. He also helped us getting the tickets for the cable car

Excellent trip to Great wall at Mutyaniu - Mr Guo the driver has been exceptionnaly helpful at all time during the trip and discovery of the Great wall at Mutyaniu. He parked near the real entrance ( no need of shuttle bus), gave water and bananas, helped getting tickets and queuing, gave precise directions, was flexible upon time. And all the way joyful and helpful.

Very nice experience. - Jenny kept us informed every day before our visit.
Jim our driver was very ponctual to the meeting point and also came with fresh fruit and water, very appreciable with the high temperature in summer period.

Perfect day in Great Wall China - Wonderfull visit of the great wall (mutianyu part).

Excellent experience - David is an excellent driver, he will help you with everything during your trip. Was a nice drive with him, when arrived he offered me some snacks and 2 bottles of water.

Smooth and did not feel tiring. Well organised tour. - David, our driver arrived early, was very friendly, kept us entertained during the drive with information about Beijing’s landmarks and history. Queued for us while we had to visit the toilet, and later got our tickets for us. The way from the hotel to the cable door was seamless and effortless. Similar on the way back. Honest, and dedicated driver.

Great experience - Great experience. Our driver Alvin was on time and took care of everything, including the extra tickets for the cable car and toboggan. He explained the best way to approach climbing the wall, which was spot on, and collected us without a problem when we were done. Excellent service.
