Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun.

Great Experience - Great experience at the Great Wall. Our tour guide Maggie was very friendly and helpful. Speaks good English too, so nothing is lost in translation. Pickup and drop off is from your hotel itself, so it's super convenient!

Best trip ever. - Booked this holiday sort of late and decided to travel to Beijing from Shanghai for a couple of days to see The Great wall and am I so glad we did. This has been one of the highlights of my life and our Tour guide Lucy made it that. She was so knowledgable, not only about the wall but the whole history of China, the 1.5 hour trip to the wall flew by so fast. Lucy accompanied us all the way on the tour explaining everything, there was no rush, she even showed us a ancient toilet, she said it was where the flag pole went but I still think it was a toilet.
Anyway, thank you Lucy and I recommend everyone tries to book this tour, and if you get Lucy you will be very lucky.

100% recommendation for the trip- a perfect day! - Today we Made a private trip with Maggie and a driver to the Great Wall to Mutianyu. It was a wonderful andvery impressive day. We enjoyed a lot.
Maggie aleady contaced us a day before to gave helpful advices for the next day.
We were picked up in time. The driver took us straight to Mutianyu, while Maggie told us a lot of very interesting details. Her English was perfect and easily to understand. She also supported us very much and organized tickets for the next day. She is a very sympathetic and empathetic person. Thanks a lot!
At the wall organization was perfect. We went straight up, enjoyed a wonderful time and went in our speed. Maggie was very sensitive and took our wishes into account.
On our way back Maggie took us to a tea house and showed us a tea ceremony. It was very impressive!
All in all it was a really wonderful day. I can recommend the trip without any doubt! The private atmosphere was very pleasant, we could take time as we want and all our questions answered and any wishes were fulfilled. It was one of the best tours we ever made! Thanks a lot!

Amazing one day trip of Beijing popular attractions - This is first time visit to Beijing and we booked a one day private all. inclusive tour day tour to see Tiananmen Sqaure , Forbidden City and Mutianyu Great Wall . We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Namcy(Xiaoyu). Nancy is very experienced and knowledgeable which makes our day trip great and exciting. She explained well and took so may photos at great spots and help us making life time memories . She arranged an excellent lunch on tour trip . Nancy we love you so much and highly recommend your services ❣️

Highly recommended - Seeing the Great Wall was surreal, definitely a must-do!
Our guide, Nicholas was fantastic, attentive, friendly and accomodating. His instructions and explanation of the site layout were clear and detailed.
The tour was well organised and flexible. We made a last minute request on the night before the tour to add the Summer Palace as an extra stop on the way back from the Wall. Lily, the tour operator and Nicholas were very responsive and kindly accommodated the request which saved us an extra day on our trip.

Excellent experience on the Great Wall! - Very good guide Maggie! Friendly and gave good information and insight! We went early so first up on the wall! Private tour so I was able to walk the entire length of this section of wall! I highly recommend this tour! Very good communication and flexibility throughout the process.

Great experience with a great guide. - Super trip with a great tour guide.
Communication the night before with hotel pickup in the lobby. Transport was comfortable and clean
Jeffrey our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. A great experience which I would recommend to anyone.
The cable car up and slide back down added the fun factor.
