Temple of Heaven - The Temple of Heaven was constructed concurrently with the Forbidden City. It comprises a series of temples and altars within a park. Twice annually during imperial times, the emperor, accompanied by a grand procession of around 1,000 eunuchs, courtiers, and ministers, would depart from the Forbidden City to the temple. At the winter solstice, he would offer gratitude for the previous harvest, and on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar year, he would implore the gods of the sun and moon, clouds and rain, and thunder and lightning to bless the upcoming harvest.
Hutong Tour - We reside in the heart of Old Beijing and are adept at uncovering the best of Old Beijing, just like a local. Together, we will explore many of the Hutongs, which are the essence of Old Beijing. We’ll visit numerous iconic landmarks and, most importantly, you’ll have a lot of fun! Walking through these back streets (Hutongs) of Old Beijing is an incredible experience, where you’ll encounter fascinating sights, and each visit is always uniquely memorable.
Pearl Market (Hongqiao Market) - This is Beijing’s largest and most renowned market for pearl jewelry (especially freshwater pearls), clothing, and luggage.
Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - This area of Beijing features some of the most extensive old hutong neighborhoods and the three lakes of Xihai, Houhai, and Qianhai.
