• Mutianyu Great Wall - Meet the driver in the hotel lobby at 6:30 AM. Enjoy a comfortable 90-minute (75km) drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Constructed in 1404 on a picturesque mountain ridge, Mutianyu is one of the best-preserved and most scenic sections of the Great Wall. It stands 7-8 meters tall and 4-5 meters wide, offering breathtaking views in every direction. Take the chairlift up to the 6th watchtower. From there, walk along the wall — the flat section (Tower 6 to 9) is easy and ideal for families and seniors, while the steeper parts provide more challenge for hikers. On clear days, distant Beijing skyscrapers are visible! After ample time for photos and walking, enjoy the thrilling toboggan slide down from the 6th tower — it’s incredibly fun! Lunch is not included. There are Chinese restaurants and a Subway nearby, or snacks can be brought along. The guide will provide complimentary bottled water. Return to the Beijing hotel around 2:00 PM.
