Mutianyu Great Wall - The Mutianyu Great Wall is considered the most beautiful section in Beijng part of whole China Great Wall.
Located in Huairou County 72km northeast of Beijing, it stands opposite of Badaling Great Wall, connected with Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. The whole area is like a garden on a mountain top. There are abundant natural springs which feed a great variety of plants and fruit trees, keeping the air fresh all year long. The scenic beauty is excellent especially in spring and autumn.
You will take roundtrip cable car go up and down then hike on the top. Or you can take cable car up and slide way down.
Your privte guide and driver will take your back hotel at the end of the tour.

The Best Guide to Beijing and Great Wall - Our guide was Lena, a wonderful guide with extensive knowledge and a brilliant English accent, making it easy to understand her. Overall, the organization was excellent, and we highly recommend it.

- A lovely day with James, expertly driven by Mr Wan . James gave us all the relevant information and tour without exhausting us in the heat ! He was very patient with us as we wanted to go down by Taboggan ( with an hours wait) as opposed to the the chair lift which had no queue. He also gave me the confidence to try the attraction. Help to buy an ice cream on the way back to our vehicle and a delicious lunch on the way back to the hotel . A first class tour by him and amazing communication by Catherine Lu Tours . Highly recommended.

Great private layover visit to Great Wall from PKX - My 18-hour layover trip to Beijing was perfect and I enjoyed it very much. I had a "less than 24-hour transit visa." My driver met me at the airport and shortly after, we picked up the private tour guide (Gary) who spoke very good English and had good information. Both Gary and the driver were very kind and helpful. It was a two-hour drive to the Badaling portion of the Great Wall for a night visit. We spent about an hour at the Wall -- just incredible.
After we finished the tour of the Great Wall, Gary and I had steamed dumplings at one of the vendors. The dumplings were very good and I appreciated the fast option so we could return more quickly to Beijing. The driver brought me back to a hotel close to the airport and I left the following morning with no trouble.
Based on my experience, I recommend Catherine Lu Tors as reputable and trustworthy. When I was researching options, it was hard to tell which Chinese tour websites were real and which were scams. The website looked very professional and their correspondence in English before the tour was also very good which made me feel safe to proceed with the booking. I felt this concern because (like most Americans), I do not speak or read Mandarin. I'm so glad I was able to make this visit happen -- two other tour operators told me it wasn't possible. Thank you Gary and Catherine Lu Tours!

The best airport layover tour ever - “Catherine Lu tours” made my dream come true 😊
Company’s owner was kind enough to accommodate pickup and drop off services from/to two different airports. Mr.Zhang the driver and Ms. Susie my guide were one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Air conditioned car and bottled water was very nice to have in such hot day. Lunch was delicious with so many options. Susie gave me so much information about the history of the Great Wall China and more. I’m so glad that I booked this tour. Can’t wait to be back again and do more tours. Thank you for the great adventure!

Highly recommended - Very good. Highly recommended. Our local guide Jenny was very knowledgeable and helpful. Good communication before the trip. Driver and Jenny showed up in time so no worries. Good lunch included. Could just enjoy the trip.
