• Longqing Gorge - Begin your adventure with a pickup from your Beijing hotel around noon, and travel in a private vehicle to Longqing Gorge (Longqingxia Gorge), situated approximately 55 miles (90 km) north of central Beijing. Surrounded by lush peaks and bordered to the north by the Gucheng Reservoir, established in 1981, the gorge presents serene yet striking views of forested mountains, intriguing rock formations, and karst caves. • The Great Wall at Badaling - Following the gorge tour, your guide will escort you to the Badaling section of the Great Wall.
