Famous Beijing opera - Great experience if you are in Beijing.
Beijing opera is such a mesmerizing show, so different from what we are used in Europe. Costumes really detailed, voices in harmony and expressions on point.
My guide tour Cathy was really nice and welcoming. She explained about the opera and the themes I was about to see. Very lively and talkative. So good to have her for today.
I would recommend this activity to everyone coming to Beijing

It must be in your list of Beijing experiences! - Wonderful experience! The make up and costumes are unique! Be in front of the stage was great! This experience should be part of your Beijing list of must have!

Li Yuan theatre highlights ! - We had a wonderful evening! The driver was punctual, and our tour manager Cathy was especially sweet. Had prudent knowledge of the area and the event. The show was also awe aspiring. the entire show was executed almost to perfection by the performers, and the atmosphere was serene. Would definitely see to it again, if we had the chance!

Great experience! - Great theater experience! The Beijing Opera is a must during a trip to Beijing, and it is better still if you have a VIP service with pickup from the hotel.
Especially with our guide, Cathy, the experience was complete; she gave us lots of tips during the brief moments together, during the transportation from hotel to the theater and back, always with humor and energy!
Only minus point, but not enough to spoil the night, is that we did expect the snacks offered by the theater to be something typical and local prepared for the guests; in the end, there were just some small packs of sweets that could be bought at the corner shop.
All in all, it was a very nice evening!

Great evening - It was really an amazing night to Watch the opera show, wow, can’t describe, all the amazing actors performance and the easy understanable humor. Cathy was very sweet and made the arrangement smooth and enjoyable with her witts and efficency. Thank you for an excellent evening 🥰 !

Chinese Opera - The visit to Chinese opera was curious. We loved how the actors and actresses acted, all very agile. We saw the show in the front row, very close to the stage, with a rich jasmine tea and Chinese sweets. One pass! But the best thing was our guide, Cathy. Ever since he picked us up in a great car, he was telling us many curious things about Chinese opera and also about Beijing and some customs of the country. A lovely guide, very friendly and friendly. He left us back at our hotel, not before giving us some magnets for the fridge and a lovely fan. Great deal from Cathy.

Amazing opera experience! - I have been looking forward to seeing opera for many years and finally got the opportunity. Before the show my tour guide explained the plots of the stories which helped me understand the show better, even though there were subtitles. Fascinating part is the way the actors combine the singing, acting and acrobatics to perfection. Special detail are they high platform shoes in which they perform gracefully.
I got picked up from my hotel in a comfortable caravan, quite spacious and fancy, if I may say so, and greeted by my super kind tour guide. She dropped me off to the theatre, all the way to my seat which was just in front of the stage, introduced the history of opera and clicked pictures. Need to mention there were Chinese sweets and jasmine tea served so I had the experience of drinking tea the chinese way.
Oh, yes, and the nice touch- I got a present, a little opera doll souvenir and a magnet as a perfect end of a nice evening.
Would recommend it to everyone!

A Must in Beijing ! - Amazing night! Very special show ! Must see when in Beijing and one of a kind.
With Incredible costumes and music, funny stories, talented acrobatic skill, with very clear English subtitles, easy to understand! Totally enjoyed the whole evening with tasty tea, snacks, so yummy, amzaing seats, very comfortable! Our guide Cathy, BEST of the BEST, very knowledgeable, she gives lots of information before and after, very fun personality, we enjoyed our evening! Thanks a lot, we definitely recommend !

Peking Opera at its finest - The opera involved 2 individual storylines that showcased the finest of Peking Opera. The costumes and makeup were highly traditional, and the live music definitely complemented the actors’ singing, dancing, and choreography. The acoustics were superb with no microphone required. The actors put on a show that took you back in time and one really felt immersed into the storyline and plot. It was an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful evening with Kathy and a taste of Beijing opera! - We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the venue, Kathy is a wonderful guide who introduced the history of Beijing and Peking opera, giving us a good context before the show. We had the best seats in the house with a table, tea and snacks, and the performance was really interesting, with English subtitles as well!
