A kind guide and an authentic experience - I went on this trip with my family. We had a nice trip and found it really authentic to see an unrestored part of the wall. Our guide Steven was really kind and had planned transportation, the hike, a snack and a dinner at the countryside for us. We will recommend this trip.

Amazing Trip - Steve is a wonderful tour guide with a lot of knowledge about china and the Great Wall. He is very polite and showed us amazing hidden spots on the wall without any other tourists. The route is for more experienced people who like to walk off the common paths, but is a real lifetime experience. The meal afterward was a great chance to taste local Chinese cuisine. Everyone was so nice and helpful that we would definitely do it again!

Alone on the Great Wall - Discover village - Great tour, Steven is super professionnal and passionnated about the Great Wall. The meal was lovely, typical and very pleasant. Highly recommend the tour and Steven !

Sunset on the Great Wall - crossing that off the bucket list! - My family and I went to Beijing for the weekend and we’re really excited to do this one day of hiking with Steven on a part of the wall called Panlongshan, about 2 hours outside Beijing. Steven came and picked us up in a minivan at our hotel and we drove out there. He is such a friendly person and clearly loves hiking. There was another family also on this trip whose grandparents came on the hike. Steven was very careful to make sure that the pace was comfortable for them, the sign of a thoughtful guide. We got there in the afternoon and hiked for a few hours. Then we stopped at one of the guard towers and had a picnic meal of a local Beijing food that was sort of like a burrito. It was simple and delicious. The kids were having a great time and the views were spectacular. We watched the sun go down. It was one of those moments I felt like I was crossing something big off my bucket list, watching the sun go down on the Great Wall of China. Incredible. One of our best days this year - thank you Steven, highly recommend!

Professional and adaptable, he knows the local points of view perfectly and adapts to the weather and the specific needs of the group. Enthusiastic and patient, Steven offers personalized hikes and surrounds himself with assistants if necessary. He has a command of English and a good understanding of the Western mentality, which makes him particularly reliable. Steven is an expert on the Great Wall of China, making every visit informative and memorable.

Unforgettable trip to the wild section of the Great Wall - I can't recommend Steven highly enough. He is really an expert on all things great wall, ensures that you have an authentic, adventurous and smooth experience to the great wall. He will definitely take you off the beaten track and adapt to your levels or needs. I've done many trips already with Steven and can't wait for my next one. Don't leave Beijing without a trip to the 'wild Great Wall'.

My favorite hiking group in Beijing - Steven is a wonderful guide -- I've been hiking with him since I moved to Beijing two years ago. He always finds scenic yet uncrowded paths, so you can enjoy the stunning views without having to fight through masses of other tourists. He's extremely responsive and flexible, always happy to adapt a route to the group's abilities and desires, even on the fly (thanks to his intimate familiarity with pretty much all the mountains around Beijing). Most importantly, though, Steven is the kindest, gentlest person you could ever ask for, so filled with passion for what he does and for sharing it with others. I've recommended so many friends join his hikes, and they've never regretted it.

Amazing tour in Jiankou - Great Wall of Chin - Steven is a really kind guide. Our tour in the great wall was amazing with him. I would definitely recommend. He has the knowledge to access to most inaccessible part of the great wall and everything was perfect, from transportation to the food. Everything very well thought!

Most amazing hikes in Beijing - Steven’s hikes were one of the best experiences throughout my three-year stay in Beijing!
Routes were amazing and the atmosphere felt like family.
I will miss many things in Beijing, Steven’s hike among the top of those things.
