Great value, excellent guide, a full day of fun, history and shots for the album. As Nike would say... just do it! - Our tour guide, Mary Wang, was the first highlight of this excellent tour. The car was spacious, clean and comfortable... perfectly suited to the relatively short trip. The experience on the wall was pure magic (breathtaking in each sense of the word! We saw some people struggling for air). The chairlift to the top was a little surprising as it had been described as a cable car, but certainly better than the alternate long hike hike up to the Wall. The luge ride was OK, but too many people all going very slowly so the "thrills" were missing. Beware if you're over 60... they'll check most "older" looking passports and send you off to ride back down on the chairlift if they see you are 60 or over. A lot of people were very frustrated having queued in the cold for a long time, only to be sent away in disappointment. Our guide, Mary, made sure I got through without a passport cheque, although the guard complained that he, too, was being monitored and would be scolded for not checking. A surprisingly fun, happy and informative day, made all the better for Mary's cheery, intelligent and sensitive commentary and professional guiding skills. And super value for money. PS: we were surprised to meet two guys who had travelled from Beijing Capital airport for this tour instead of waiting out a 9 hour stop over at the airport... we didn't know that could be done and will certainly take note for future long layovers.

Excellent Great Wall tour. - Jenny was a great tour guide, giving a lot of information about Beijing, the local area and the Great Wall.

5/5 - The tour itself was very interesting with a lot of interesting knowledge having been shared. Michael, the tour guide, spoke very good English and seemed to really care about the information he was telling us. The jade museum and tea ceremony were a nice surprise after visiting the Wall.

All in all a great tour - Just the two of us booked tour that day, so practically a private tour. Very good organized. The Great Wall was massive and impressive. Made a big impressive. The visit to jadefactory and local lunch were interesting. The guide was informative and spoke good english. All in all a great tour.

What you need in a tour experience! - Lee was really friendly and the tour was really good, full of different activities that enriched our stay in Beijing. I really recomend this activity with Lee.

Excelente service and... - Excelente service and attention from the guide Mr. Lee since it was on low season we didn't expirenced crowds nor long lines and cold wasn't an issue recommended to everyone how wants to walk freely and at his own pace

Good location but good to have onsite storytelling - Good experience with this spot. Better than Badaling imo. Guide was very helpful and explain a lot during the journey there. Guide led us to cable car and then we were given 1.5hr to explore on our own. I like it that it’s small group and guide brought us there earlier which is good as it was less crowd then. Pictures were better with less crowd. The only downside which I thought is quite impt (for me at least) is the storytelling on site itself. I wish guide would have followed us up to the wall and tell us stories about the wall, watch tower, architecture and all there. I saw some tourists at the wall accompanied by their guides and I thought the experience and storytelling would be more enriching, compared to my group left to explore on our own.

Great Guide and Meal, but Rushed Visit and Excessive Shopping Stops - The tour had a great guide who was knowledgeable and helpful, and the meal provided was tasty and enjoyable. However, the time spent at the Great Wall felt too short, leaving little opportunity to fully explore and appreciate the site. Additionally, the tour included several stops at shops, where the encouragement to make purchases felt excessive, which somewhat diminished the overall experience.
