Highlight of our Beijing visit - This was the highlight of our Beijing vacation and exceeded our expectations. Leo picked us up with a comfortable car at 11 AM at the hotel, so we had a relaxed morning. The drive is long (2-2.5 hour) but so worth it. We first went to the unrestored wall. It’s a bit of hike to go up, but very rewarding. There was no one else there, except a guard and at the end an other tourist climbed up. Next we went for a late lunch in a local restaurant, and had some great dishes and local beer. Then we went to a restored part of the wall - but as we came late, people were leaving when we arrived. The wall was amazing and only a few people left. We had asked for the optional bottle of wine and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. This was a great memory. Leo is also a very nice guy, speaks English very well. I would highly recommend.

Best Great Wall Tour! - Absolutely incredible!! If you're planning on seeing the Great Wall in China, look no further. This is THE BEST tour. Leo was a fantastic tour guide. We saw two different spots of the wall and hiked for about 3 hours in total. This is the best tour because you can see the Great Wall during both day time and sunset. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting China!!

An amazing experience and tour - An incredible way to see the Great Wall. Private car pickup at our hotel and returned. Visiting two wonderful and different sections of the wall with very few tourists, we had the wall all to ourselves a lot of the day. Very friendly, helpful guide with many interesting stories to share about the history of the wall and China. Enjoyed the tasty authentic lunch. Absolutely recommend this!

Amazing, no crowds, the real wall experience - An amazing experience. Adele our host could not have been any better. Her English is brilliant, her driver was the best we had in Beijing. I struggled with the heat (34 degrees) but Adele let me take my time and crawl up and down the extremely steep steps in parts. Highly recommended especially if you don’t like crowds and want to see the real wall !!

The perfect trip to the Great Wall - We had a trip of a lifetime to the Great Wall at Gubeikou and Jinshanling today. Not cheap but every bit as amazing as we had hoped and worth every penny. I have visited the sections at Badaling and Yuyongguan before but they were incredibly busy, commercialized and so perfectly restored that it felt like a Disneyland imitation. So I wanted a more authentic experience when visiting with my family this year. These sections are breathtakingly beautiful and we had it (almost) all to ourselves. And we were taken care of so well from beginning to end by Ricky at the office and David our knowledgeable and pleasant guide, as well as the driver. Highly recommended!!

Best tour - Most amazing tour we have been on in Beijing. Went with my dad not knowing what to expect except for the sunset at the end but we ended up enjoying a whole tour about the history of the great wall with our guide Adele. She was communicating both in English and Mandarin for my dad and I and especially accommodating to whatever pictures, routes or hiking preferences we had. Would 100% recommend. Her planning also endured that we had the whole wall to ourselves!!!

Worth every penny! - This was without doubt the most amazing experience. From the hotel pickup at 11.00am to the drop off at 10.00pm, every aspect of the tour was superb. Our guide Adele spoke perfect English, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone, but be aware, some of the steps are very steep and uneven.

Leave the crowds to the tourists - If you love crowded tourist spots and a Disney like experience this is not the tour for you. But, if like us, you enjoy a more authentic experience then I highly recommend this tour. The first stop was a section of the wall with minimal restoration done and almost no one else there. It was about a 20min hike up to the wall and from there we walked for almost 2 hours traversing the wall until we looped down to our starting point. We saw maybe 4 other people the entire time. It was very enjoyable. We had lunch at a local restaurant which was really good. The bok choy was amazing. We then went to what would normally be a crowded tourist location but because this was the late afternoon portion of the trip there were very few people there - maybe a dozen. I can only imagine how crowded it was earlier in the day - a place with a gondola. The hike up was about 20min and you definitely want to be ready for climbing some steps. The views were well worth it. Last but not least, our guide Leo really made it all the more exceptional. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the wall and China in general. He has a great sense of humor and we talked about many more things than just the wall. He’s also a pretty good photographer. :)
