• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Travelers must provide accurate passport numbers and full names when booking. After purchase, a booking confirmation will be sent. On the day of travel, entry to the Forbidden City is granted by presenting your passport at the South Gate entrance. This is an E-ticket, so there is no need to exchange it for a paper ticket.
  Forbidden City opening hours: April 1 to October 31–8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  November 1 to March 31–8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
  This is exclusively for passport holders.
  Enter through the Meridian Gate (午门 in Chinese).
  If traveling by taxi, request the driver to drop you off at the East Gate (东华门 in Chinese) or West Gate (西华门 in Chinese), then proceed on foot to the Meridian Gate.

The Forbidden City is one of Beijing’s premier attractions, with a daily ticket limit of 30,000. As a result, securing a ticket on the day of your visit can be challenging. Therefore, it is essential to book your ticket in advance. With a pre-booked entrance ticket, you can bypass the long queues and head straight inside by presenting your passport at the South Gate entrance.
