Excellent and recommended tour of Beijing! - The tour was excellent because Carrie not only knew a lot about Beijing, but also gave us very useful tips to get around the city and make the most of it. She was attentive and funny. It was a very happy, interesting and well-used morning. A 100 out of 10!

1st and genuine day in Beijing - Back to Beijing after more than 15 years, what a smartest way to renew with the authentic heart of the city than visiting the Hutong and know more about the city past and then present!!!

Great tour guide. Route could be more "touristy" for my taste. - Did the walking tour today. I would have loved to see more different sights and real landmarks/real cultural things, instead of different smaller buildings/streets, that probably represent beijing culture well and might be overlooked, but to me personally were not that exciting or interesting. I usually use the free walking tours in cities to get an overview or to cover "must see" things with a connection to history, so I can then just explore the hidden gems and details. This one was a really cool insight into some details, but I feel like I am still missing the overall beijing touristy experience. Maybe that's not possible with a big city like that, but it would be cool to have 1-2 main attractions additionally (like the tiananmen square or so) I think this would be an amazing "additional tour" to do, but it would be great if there was a "the touristy basic tour" also provided. ;) Apart from that administrative detail, I still really enjoyed the group. Tori as a tour guide was fantastic! She speaks English perfectly, was funny, motivated and super helpful. She made the tour a real highlight!
