• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their city center hotel lobby. If outside the pickup area, they can meet their guide at Qianmen Station, exit E2, on subway line 2.

The first stop is Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. Along the renowned Chang’an Street, visitors will see The Great Hall of the People and The National Museum (formerly the Museum of Chinese History and Revolution). At the center of the square is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From Tiananmen Gate, guests can walk towards the Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world, featuring 9,999.5 rooms and over 600 years of history. A total of 24 Chinese emperors lived and ruled here from the Ming to the Qing dynasty. It’s recommended to spend a few hours exploring the highlights of the Forbidden City.

Note: The Forbidden City is closed every Monday, and the Summer Palace will be visited instead.
