Perfect way to see Beijing highlights - The tour agency was very communicative as there was an unusual wind storm the original date of our tour, and accommodated a change in schedule so we could enjoy the city sites. Marry, our tour guide, was very informative and energetic, and did a good job wrangling our group despite the overly crowded sites. She gave good info and history on all of the historical areas, as well as helped with pointers for shopping and restaurants on other days. Be prepared for the crowds and give yourself and tour guide some grace as it can be hectic at times, but that is Beijing in general. The Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven are beautiful and take you back to another time in Chinese history, while Tiananmen Sqaure is a sobering reminder of the not so distant past. It is A LOT of walking, so be prepared for that and, if possible, ask for Marry as she is a fantastic and kind tour guide who wants all of her guests to have a great time. Recommended for those wanting to see the highlights of Beijing!

Great experience, great guide - Amazing tour! The guide Jenny is extremely knowledgeable and always giving very interesting insight on the local culture. On the logistic side the tour was managed by Jenny effortlessly, without unnecessary waiting and queues at the sites. Very nice stop at the pearl shop were there was the possibility to get to know the local business better, as well as the tea ceremony. Overall very nice experience and highly recommended. Shoutout to Jenny for her superlative performance also on the tour the day after!

Must do! - I learned so much! To be honest, these places were very massive with loads of history but my tour guide Jenny explained everything so effortlessly. I felt like I had a great understanding of the rich Chinese culture in history behind these landmarks. Selfishly, I also loved how many photos she took of me and how amazing they were. I highly recommend this tour and I highly recommend Jennie as your tour guide.

Extraordinary tour - The tour was perfectly organized, Lisa (the guide) was very attentive, friendly and polite. She speaks perfect English and provided us with many interesting details about sites and China history. It was very convenient that the tour started early in the morning, as we managed to see the sites before they became overcrowded. Lisa called me the previous day in order to make sure that we agree on meeting time and place (my hotel) amd was right on time to pick me up. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Beijing/China history and in having professional guide beside.

Best time to visit Beijing is around April or March - This is a good one day tour of Beijing. The tour guide (Lee, nicknamed Bruce Lee) was a fun guy and made an attempt to accommodate everyone. I visitied in January, relatively less crowded and shorter lines. But some places like Summer Palace look dead in winter. Personally would have preferred to switch Summer Palace with another attraction, even a short visit to National Museum, for tours in winter. This tour also includes extra stops that are flexibile or on-demand I guess: silk factory with a short demo of silk processing, tea tasting, and traditional Chinese medicine clinic with a complimentary optional chek up by a Chinese doctor. Each place has a product that they love to sell you some: silk blankets, Chinese tea, and Chinese herbal medicine prescribed after the checkup or a foot massage. All three stops were interesting imho, but it would have been nice if it was mentioned in the itinerary. If someone doesn't want the activity or sales part of it, but the group wants to go, they are stuck with it.

A really interesting day... - A really interesting day visiting the main sights of Beijing. We had considered doing this under our own steam but were glad that we hadn’t. Lisa smoothed the way through potentially complicated ticket purchasing and security checks; and gave us lots of background information about what we were seeing. She was informative, helpful and good fun. Collection from, and drop off at, the hotel made this tour very easy and we very much enjoyed our lunch at a restaurant patronised by locals. All in all, an excellent experience and one we would thoroughly recommend.

Should not take us to tea... - Should not take us to tea shops, jade shops, or pearl shops to make purchases. We pay already for guide, should not make more business.

Best Beijing experience! - One of the best traveling tours, I have taken in my lifetime. Michael and driver delivered a truly special Beijing day to see all the sites plus great lunch and tea service. I loved the tour and was sad when it was over. I highly recommend this experience!

Hot, crowded and terrible guide - It is very crowded and hot. Be sure to bring water as it is not provided. The guide rushed through the tour and did not wait for anyone. People got lost from the group many times. They wanted to take pictures and she would not wait for them even when they politely asked. We could not understand what she was saying. For lunch we needed to walk through a store that sells pearls. It was a buffet lunch of poor quality. We left after lunch and did not finish the tour.
