Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The English-speaking guide in Beijing will be holding a sign with the clients’ names and will be waiting in the lobby of Tianjin port at 8:00 am. After a 2.5-hour drive, visitors will explore Tiananmen Square to view monuments that reflect Mao’s impact on China’s modern history.
Forbidden City - The Palace Museum - Next, the tour proceeds to the Forbidden City, the world’s largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace with a history spanning 600 years. Guests will tour the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for about 2 hours.
Following this, there will be an opportunity to visit a silk museum to learn about traditional silk culture. After a brief stop, enjoy a typical Chinese lunch for approximately 40 minutes at a local restaurant. Later, return to the hotel.
Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace (L)
Mutianyu Great Wall - On the second day, experience China’s top attraction, the Mutianyu Great Wall. This section is less crowded and offers a quieter experience. After the visit, enjoy a Chinese lunch at the authentic Jade Gallery restaurant, where visitors can also explore fascinating ancient Chinese jade culture.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Afterwards, visit the stunning Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. Spend about 1.5 hours there before heading to a local tea house to enjoy an amazing Chinese tea ceremony. Finally, guests will be transferred back to their hotel.
