Sun dyeing workshop - The sun dyeing was an excellent experience, with great care and guidance given from start to finish. I had booked my husband to join me and he had reluctantly come along but we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We came away with two unique pieces of fabric that is a good reminder of this once in a lifetime experience. Thank you so much Roots for everything!

Fantastic, fun experience - Saw this on cruising with Jane Jane Macdonald. We had a fantastic, fun experience. A beautiful hillside setting where we picked our own flowers and plants. Tony guided us through the process, the paint splashing was vwry therapeutic. The home made coconut treats were very welcome. Tony and the team ( including dogs and a tortoise) were happy and friendly. We are so pleased with our fabulous results, it was great to use our artistic expression and come away with a unique souvenir. I have a lovely caftan to wear and it’s all my own work 🥰

Afternoon with the Rastas - This was a fantastic afternoon. Beautiful flowers & leaves to collect. Tony & his team were wonderful. I love my sarong, it’s unique! Freedom , their tortoise was wondering around the grounds. Home cooked snacks were delicious, especially the banana bread. My first taste of fresh coconut milk didn’t disappoint either . Definitely recommend this activity, we had lots of laughs .

Fun Art - Very enjoyable few hours and a great momento of our visit to the Seychelles. Lovely hosts who made the experience very easy and organic.

Very much recomended - We had a great time l, great expirience and great outcome. Not cheap but worth every Rupie. The artist is uniqe and good hearted

This is a must do if you are visiting Mahe..... - What a fantastic way to spend a morning in the mountains on Mahe.... Tony and his family were so welcoming and helped us get the best for our fabric design.... snacks and juice were very welcome in the heat while we waited for the sun to completely dry our flowers and leaves fabric printing. This is a "must do" if you can make the time available - 10am till 1pm - booking recommended..... My opinion is these are great people, true to their roots!! Would love to visit again but it's a long way from the UK... who knows - if we're back that way we will go back and recommend it to others!

Nice fun - Lots of fun, gotta be smart about picking out the leaves- but the experience was really nice! The guide was great!

Art Meditation and creativity workshop - It was an amazing art-meditation workshop! I made a unique cloth printed with leaves and flowers. The workshop took about 2.5 hrs, and luckily it was sunny. This is the best way to creat your own African souvenir. And banana pancakes with lemonade as a treat!

Very interesting and suitable for all ages - After seeing this activity on the TV programme, Jane MacDonald in the Seychelles, we thought we’d give it a go too ! We had a great three hours, which is suitable for all ages. Tony & the gang made the morning fun and interactive. Juice, fresh coconut and homemade banana cakes were delicious and plenty of them. Definitely recommend this for anyone.

Sunshine in the rain - a memorable family experience - Generous, warm and friendly hosts. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and has been the highlight of our stay thus far. Thank you to the roots family for making us feel so welcome. Loved the energy and happy conversations ✨️
