The best personalized tour of a lifetime - Boy went above and beyond to personalize my tour retracing my father’s footsteps from landing on Omaha Beach through the first couple of months fighting for St. Lo. He is extremely knowledgeable about the US landing and did an immense amount of research prior to my arrival to make this an unbelievable experience for me.

Exceptional tour - Boy was a great guide. He had so much information and has met with so many veterans and heard their personal stories. We gained so much knowledge and were very humbled by the stories. Until you are here you don’t really understand the magnitude of D-Day.

Exceptional Experience - Boy did an excellent job customizing the tour to exactly what we had requested. He added a surprise stop along the way, which was both unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable. We would highly recommend Neptune tours to our friends and family members. What a memorable day it was!

Incredible insights into D’Day - For years, my wife and I had wanted to see the historic sights surrounding the D’Day invasion. We can’t imagine a better experience than what was provided by Neptune Battle Tours and its founder, Boy. His friendly demeanor and encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of the events leading up to D’Day and all that happened afterwards, was extremely impressive. Probably due in large part to his friendship with the founder of the Greatest Generation Foundation. That association allowed him to meet and become friends with many of the veterans that fought in the invasion. Our deepest thanks goes out to all of the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way for the freedoms we enjoy today.

Request Adrien to guide you to American D-Day beaches; this is his passion, he loves what he does…and it shows - My husband and I booked a full day guided minivan tour of the American D-Day beaches. It was outstanding and worth every Euro. We used Gold Beach Tours. Adrien was our guide and the person you want to request because he is doing what he was created to do! His English is excellent, he is quick-witted, polite, humorous, extremely knowledgeable, and ever so passionate about his subject. Besides his knowledge of the war, he had many human interest stories about individual soldiers that fascinated us. He enjoys people, is convivial, flexible and never boring. A+ Be sure to request him for your guide and find out from him how it is he actually became a guide. Pro tip: wear a heavier jacket than you think you’ll need. We were here in early April of 2025 and although it was sunny and the weather was a comfortable 63° the wind gusts on the beach made it feel uncomfortably cold!

Great tour! - This was a wonderful tour! Boy was the best tour guide I have ever had and I have had many during my travels. He is passionate about all aspects of D Day and has a wealth and depth of knowledge that is truly impressive. He volunteers with a veterans’ support organization and has many moving stories about the brave men who fought and died on the beaches and in the days afterward. And he loves the movie the Longest Day as do I. If you can ask for Boy to be your guide, DO IT!!

Amazing tour - This was a day tour around Omaha and Utah Beaches with a visit to the American cemetery. Boy was very knowledgeable and his passion for D-Day history was key to highlighting events through out the invasion. Recounting the stories shared by so many veterans was enthralling and so humbling.
