Excellent Full Day Tour! - Excellent tour! Our guide Matt did an incredible job telling the history of the D-Day invasions and surrounding events of that day, while bringing us to the D-Day beaches and surrounding towns to see and understand how the events of that day evolved and ultimately happened. Highly recommend!

Tour With Overlord - Highly Recommended! - This was our 2nd Tour with Overlord to the D Day beaches. Last year we did the British and Canadian sector beaches as we are Canadians but after experiencing them we decided we needed to come back for the Omaha/Utah American Tour.
We were extremely pleased to find when we arrived for the tour that we would have the same guide that we had last year. Thierry's knowledge and presentation of the history and events of D Day are amazing as well as the thought provoking side stories of the brave people, residents and soldiers involved. We highly recommend these tours with Overlord.

Absolutely amazing tour, I must do if you’re in France - This is my second trip to Normandy and our guide. Maggie was absolutely outstanding. I learned so much about this area and World War II. I highly recommend this tour and getting her as your guide if possible. Absolutely amazing.

Poignant DDAY experience - Matt from Ophorus took our Aussie family on the day trip to D-DAY sites, including the Omaha and Utah landing beaches, U.S. cemetery, the Pointe du Hoc site and historic Sainte-Mère-Eglise village. Matt's energetic narrative style was complimented with fascinating historical facts and aspects of the poignant period of D-Day. Our family enjoyed the experience and highly recommended Matt's Northerner charisma.

D-Day experience! - Matt, was absolutely terrific! He was so knowledgeable about the history of D-Day and the perils that not only the U.S., Canadians and British went through but also the view of the Germans.

Our Special day at Normandy - John, our guide made this a very memorable experience!!! While traveling in a comfortable van with total of 8 we toured. He articulated so well and so clearly the times of the Normandy invasions. Going to Omaha beach and the American Memorial Cemetary really was emotional. Our stop for lunch mid day a a Restraunt nearby the beach was wonderful! We all were enjoying ourselves!My husband , son and I really learned a lot. We would give John the highest of recommendation!

Not to miss, especially if the weather is good. - Matt was a great guide, the weather perfect. There was another couple on the trip. We kept to the schedule and enjoyed the lowering of the flag and taps during the last stop at the beautiful American cemetery in Normandy. Lovely and moving. Highly recommend.

Best Day Of My Life - Tour Guide : Matt Turner
I am 28 years old and love WW2 history. I traveled alone to Normandy and booked a group tour through Viator. I got EXTREMELY lucky and landed an excellent tour guide named Matt Turner. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, fun, and experienced. Words can't describe how incredible and important this experience was for me. It was the best day of my life I think. Moving experience, and I would recommend Matt as a tour guide every time...

Terrible customer service - do not do business with these people. - I booked this tour in April by mistake. The trip is in May. When I called the company to make a correction they told me that the tickets are not changeable, non-cancelable and non refundable. No correction to the tour date is possible and no refund. It was my mistake, I freely admit but all I am asking is to change the date on the booking! Even a change fee would be better than keeping !00%
