Puerto Rico’s limestone crags are renowned for their distinctive shapes and features. Explore the El Mamon Sector, also known as the Original Sector, at Parque Julio Enrique Monagas in Bayamon. This area, often referred to as the “melted wax wall,” boasts unique formations that perfectly match its description. The sector offers 15 sport climbing routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.11c. This is just one of many incredible crags in this fantastic climbing area, located only 15 minutes west of San Juan.

Our trips are fully catered to our client’s needs and expectations. We work with experienced, intermediate and beginner climbers alike. No previous experience is required to participate.
For our beginner climbers you will learn basic rock climbing techniques, including how to tie-in and belay. You’ll also learn about gear and climbing commands.
