Roatan - Upon arriving at Roatan Island International Airport, guests will be greeted by a local English-speaking guide, who will accompany them throughout most of the tour in the eastern part of Roatan. After a picturesque 1-hour drive, guests will reach the Calabash Bight beach resort, where they can enjoy a leisurely afternoon and evening to unwind and adjust after their flight, with stunning ocean views and a pristine white sand beach. The resort features seven cabins and offers kayaks for those interested in kayaking or simply relaxing on the beach, soaking in the refreshing ocean breeze and the beautiful scenery of the Calabash Bight community. Dinner will be served at the resort’s restaurant.

Mangrove Tunnels & Island Hopping Adventure

Jonesville Point - The day begins with a tour through the mangrove tunnels. Surrounded by vibrant red mangroves and crystal-clear turquoise waters, the guide will share insights about these eco-tunnels.

3-Stop Snorkeling plus Immersive Garifuna Culture

Punta Gorda - After exploring Big Bight town and enjoying snorkeling, the tour will proceed to Punta Gorda village, the first Garifuna village, for an immersive cultural experience. Guests will learn about the history, ancestral traditions, and Punta dance, and enjoy a tasting experience with descendants of an Afro-indigenous population from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent, who were exiled to the Honduran coast in the eighteenth century.

Local Living, Natural Medicine at Diamond Rock & Camp Bay Beach

Camp Bay - Following the local experience with the villagers, the tour will stop at Las Sirenas Bar & Restaurant for a delightful lunch. In the afternoon, guests will head to Camp Bay beach, located just 10 minutes from Las Sirenas, where Roatan’s largest natural white sand tropical beach awaits. An optional walk to the red rocks is available. The guide will provide information about the Paya culture.

Your adventure starts just outside French Harbor town, at the entrance of a charming, dilapidated village; this marks the start of your trip to the East End of Roatan. A road atop a mountain winds about 15 miles along the island’s core, offering breathtaking views of both the north and south coasts of Roatan. Along the path, you’ll see directions marked for scenic small towns such as First Bight, Milton Bight, Politilly Bight, Jonesville, a historic fishing village established in the 1800s, and Oak Ridge, known as the “Roatan’s Venice” among other communities.
