Book with Anderson! - Book with Anderson! We had a great day at Infinity Bay - the pool and hotel were very nice, food was great, and the beach was nice despite a little rain blowing through at one point. Anderson was a great host - met us on time at pickup and was ready to go right on time so we had no issues getting back to the ship on time. He's a great dude - loved hearing about his travels and his family! Hope to be back soon!

Great Experience - The location of the resort and the resort itself was perfect. They were very organized and the property was clean and beautiful. It was not busy and was very private. food was good. Beach and pool were a great amenity. Our driver Bridgette was kind and a very safe driver. She was on time and kept great track of us. Made sure we had plenty of time to reach our ship on time, which turned out to be necessary due to very heavy traffic.

Infinity Bay Resort - We had a wonderful time at infinity it was beautiful. Jr. Frazer was a great tour guide. He gave us so much information about the island on the way to the resort and then quizzed us on the way home. The kids had so much fun and we had a great day in Roatan.

Good hotel. Nice beach. Disappointing reef. Expensive. - We went for the snorkeling. Reviews about West End led me to believe the reef was right off the shore. It was not. (200 to 300 yards) Unless you are a very good swimmer, a boat ride is pretty much required, for another $35 per person. The reef was a disappointment. No colors, all brown. Not really many fish. I can't figure out why it gets such great reviews. The resort was OK. No shady areas all day. We had to keep moving to stay out of the sun. The swim up bar was OK. Don't get tricked by the bill, by adding a tip. MANDATORY 22% "propina" (tip), is added to every bill. Nice pool. Great Driver. David was extremely helpful and kind.

The truth about this tour... - Not a bad way to spend the day but there is some misleading information and a lack of communication from the tour company. First of all, the rum and chocolate tours are free for anyone to visit. They make their money from selling you their products so if you are going for these two things, just take a taxi. Second, the tours are scheduled for "ship time" which is different with each cruise line. In our case, there was a Royal Caribbean ship and a Norwegian ship in port. Norwegian's ship time was an hour later than RCCL so we missed the tour. They were nice enough to come get us and take us an hour later but they kept saying that the tour is based on ship time and couldn't comprehend that different cruise lines have different ship times. The resort doesn't include any food and you get one free drink of beer, wine, or punch. They don't give you chairs on the beach, only on their property. That could be a good thing because there are a ton of people selling things on the beach so it's hard to relax. The beach was pretty and the pool was nice too. Just a lot of money for what we got.

Not a private transport- beware and save your money for a taxi instead - First, I want to say that the resort itself is beautiful, and I would absolutely visit again. This review, however, is specifically for the “tour” experience. The resort can be booked directly through Infinity Bay’s website, where day passes are available for $30 per person—the same access included in this tour. The only reason we chose to book through this tour was because it advertised private transportation, which was completely inaccurate. Transportation was shared the entire time. In hindsight, a taxi would have provided better and more private service with far more flexibility and at a significantly lower cost. Believing the transportation was private gave me peace of mind when booking outside of our cruise line’s offerings, and I was willing to pay the extra cost to ensure we would return to the ship on time with a dedicated driver. Unfortunately, that was not the case as this was a shared transport. From the start, the experience was disorganized. Our ship operated on a different time zone than the local time, which created confusion. It was also difficult to locate the tour operator among the many vendors at the port. Once we found them, we were taken behind a fenced area and told to wait for other guests—our first indication that this was not a private tour as advertised. We waited there for about 30 minutes in a gravel lot while other vendors repeatedly approached us selling bracelets and souvenirs—some returning multiple times to ask us to buy things. We felt a bit like sitting ducks. We were then led on a 5–6 minute walk along busy roads to a parked transport van, where we waited even longer for additional passengers. This is NOT ideal with children and we did not feel safe walking along these roads (no sidewalks). Once we finally departed, we made multiple stops to drop off other guests at activities like horseback riding, further confirming this was shared transportation and adding unnecessary delays. Upon arrival at the resort, the driver handed us cash to pay for our entrance, despite the fact that we had already prepaid through Viator. The guide mentioned this arrangement would allow him to bring his family back in the future, which felt unprofessional and concerning. We were given a limited amount of time at the resort. We initially arranged for a 1:00 PM pickup (local time) to ensure we returned to our ship comfortably. However, about an hour into our stay, the driver returned and asked us to be ready by 12:30 PM instead so he could accommodate another group wanting to visit the chocolate and rum factories. Although we were not interested, we agreed to avoid further delays. We cut our resort time short, gathered our children, and were ready at 12:29 PM—only for the driver to arrive over 20 minutes late, nearly at our original requested pickup time. This was extremely frustrating, as we lost valuable time we had already paid for at the resort and were once again left waiting. At that point, I insisted we return directly to the ship without any additional stops. Fortunately, the other passengers agreed. The van was overcrowded, and our children had to sit in the front, separated from us—again, far from the “private transportation” we were promised. In the end, this experience did not deliver what was advertised. I strongly recommend booking directly through Infinity Bay and taking a taxi from the port. It will save you money, give you a truly private transportation, provide true flexibility, and eliminate the stress we experienced. The resort itself is well worth visiting—but this tour is not, especially at the $99 per person price tag when the resort pass itself is only $30. Our family of four paid nearly $400 instead of the $120 total resort pass fee expecting private transportation that was NOT provided. Nothing about our transportation was worth the tours additional $276. Beware!
