Solo travelor - I had an amazing experience with othman tuor on the White and Black Desert tour. Everything was perfectly organized from clear communication before the trip to comfortable transport and a knowledgeable, friendly guide. The camping setup was great, with delicious meals and a magical night under the stars. The itinerary was well-paced, covering all the highlights without feeling rushed. Truly unforgettable and highly recommended!

AMAZING - Beautiful experience, to do absolutely!
Prepare for a long, but spectacular journey!
After a couple of hours drive, you arrive at the area where you rest and have lunch.
After that the tour of the various deserts and landscapes begins.
Dress comfortably and prepare for the heat.
Before going to the camping area we had various experiences, such as swimming in a kind of pool and sandbording, beautiful! I therefore recommend bringing your swimsuit!
Arriving in the area where we spent the night we relaxed a bit before having a hearty dinner and then drinking tea around the fire.
Our guide has always been attentive and kind!
Rabbit to all this tour

The ultimate desert experience with a personal touch - We spent three weeks as a family of 5 touring through Egypt.
This tour was an incredibly beautiful experience which we can not highly recommend enough!
From pickup and return in Kairo to the driver/guide in the black & white desert everyone was highly professional, caring and attentive.
The desert guide knew the desert by heart and knew his stuff about how to handle the 4-wheel drive. Trust me, I have lived and toured 4x great deserts of the world and it is important, to have experts involved.
They set up a private camp for you and offer a tent but we slept under the open sky with the stars in the middle of nowhere.
They cook you an excellent dinner. One of my daughters is a fussy eater and she ate more than any other evening in Egypt and mumbled „Daddy, tell the guide he knows how to cook!“.
Sleeping under the open sky, waking up just before sunrise, to see the stars so picture perfect above you, you feel the sky might fall into you and the stunning sunrise, is an experience we will all savor for years to come. Thank you for all involved!

A trip to take at least once in a lifetime - This desert excursion was an unforgettable experience, both in terms of the beauty DE landscapes and the quality of the accompaniment. Our Bedouin guide was exceptional, attentive and passionate, making us discover each site with precision and authenticity.
The bivouac, under a sky of rare purity, remains one of the most beautiful shows I have seen: no light pollution, a brilliant firmament, and the impression of being alone in the world. Spending the night in a sleeping bag, amidst the silence of the desert, is a unique moment.
The organization is bi EN scourge, and one feels safe at every step. Meals, while not memorable, were correct and sufficient.
However, there are a few points that deserve mention. DE travel time is long: almost five hours on the way, in a van a little cramped for the number DE passengers, which makes comfort limited compared to the price paid. In addition, some promotional photos show foxes, suggesting that their sighting is frequent. EN reality, it is rather a rare EN encounter; we have not seen one.
Despite these reservations, the experience remains exceptional and deserves to be lived at least once in a lifetime.

Good and bad - The hotel pickup was 45 minutes late. After giving as hour: 6:00, then 6:30, then 7:00 the day before, we were picked up at 7:45.
The minivan was not the one indicated by the organizer.
We were extremely tight in the back of this small van, which was not very comfortable or clean.
After 4 hours drive and 2 stops at the gas station, we arrive in the middle of a desert, in a kind of hotel / canteen. We are about thirty tourists.
We are set up for the briefing of the hotel manager. This one is not pleasant. We have no idea what lies ahead.
He informs us that we have to pay the tax for the white desert of 250 Egp per person. We didn’t have enough fluid on us, so we had to stop the next day at an ATM.
He was the one who formed the small groups to go into the desert via 4x4. Having met another Frenchwoman who was alone, we sit down with her. But the manager didn’t want to know anything, we were grouped with 3 Americans, leaving the French alone in a group of Koreans who did not speak English.
After a rudimentary lunch, we leave very quickly in 4x4.
Here, nothing to say, our guide Barda is extraordinary, he knows perfectly his job and the desert. The vehicle is comfortable.
We cross the roads towards the black desert.
Barda explains what it is, we stop on a mountain of rock for 10 minutes and then leave towards the white desert. We thought it would be longer or at least we would see other things from this desert.
We make several different stops in the white desert. It is absolutely beautiful. After a stop to sandboard, we continue to be on time for sunset. This is an experience not to be missed, and well worth the long hours drive. Barda is in charge of setting up the camp, he is in care. The food is excellent, everything is perfect. We end our day talking together and discover the history of Barda with great pleasure. After a night under the stars and a slightly cool awakening, Barda prepares us breakfast. We see around us the other groups (just far away) preparing to leave. We finish our lunch and leave for the oasis.
Be careful, it is not as you imagine. They are simply water sources pumped several hundred meters below the ground. I don’t advise you to swim in it, and you won’t have time anyway. We leave for 1h30 drive towards the hotel in the desert. After a very quick pee we leave for 4 hours drive towards Giza.
The driver does not fail to ask you for a tip, and if it is too low for him, he will let you know.
Overall, wonderful experience, a little spoiled by the “factory” side of the organizers. But once you're in the desert, you're alone in the world, and it feels good.
