Our guide Jim was excellent and I cannot recommend Bath Walking Tours highly enough. - After taking two American couples on a birdwatching holiday around Somerset my clients wanted a more general guided tour of Bath with an expert guide on the city. Boy we hit the jackpot with Jim from Bath Walking Tours. Jim quickly got the level of information exactly right for the group mixing history humour and personal anecdotes as we walked for two hours around the beautiful city. It was a cold afternoon however Jim knew where we could warm our hands and where loos were if required (they were!) I cannot recommend Bath Walking Tours highly enough. Mayor of Bath's Honorary Guides free walking tour - We loved the two-hour, volunteer-led, walking tour of Bath with James, even though we had to drop off a bit early to make our tea at the pump room. James is very knowledgeable about all things Bath, and a very fast walker. He also inserted lots of humor along the way. Highly recommended.

Exceptional Private Tour with Jim – A Must-Do in Bath! - If you’re visiting Bath and want an unforgettable experience, book a tour with Jim! Our private tour with him was nothing short of amazing. He’s incredibly personable, weaving fascinating stories and facts into every stop we made. Jim struck the perfect balance in pace for our group of four, ensuring we never felt rushed while covering so much ground. From the city’s rich history to its role in filming Bridgerton, from wartime stories to stunning architecture, he brought it all to life with incredible detail. Not only did Jim share fantastic restaurant recommendations, but he also pointed out the best photo spots and even knew all the hidden toilets (a lifesaver!). This tour was a highlight of our trip, and Jim is truly a gem. If you want to experience Bath like an insider, he’s your guy. Highly recommend! A wonderful start to our time in Bath - James is a great tour guide, with knowledge on architecture and history. I recommend going on a tour with him the first day you arrive in Bath so you can get his recommendations about where to go during your stay. He told us about several things we never would have known about. Highly recommend!

History made accessible - Tony did an excellent job! This is one of the best tours I have ever been on. His knowledge (both personal and historical) of the area is incredible, and the organized way he presents it allows tour group members a better chance of absorbing/retaining some of that information. Thank you, Tony!

Fantastic Tour Guide - All of the Viator tours that we booked for our recent trip were high-quality, but our Bath trip with Tony was even better than the others- in addition to being very personable, he was knowledgeable on a broad range of subjects, providing responses to all of our questions. We would recommend him to anyone seeking a similar experience!
