- His Majesty’s Prison (Basseterre) - Built in 1840 in Saint Kitts, this prison was originally designed for 82 inmates but housed around 320, including pretrial detainees alongside convicted prisoners. Most inmates had beds, though some used blankets on the floor.
- St. George’s Anglican Church - St. George’s Anglican Church is the largest in Basseterre, located at the head of Church Street. It resembles an English parish church, with heavy andesite rock walls and a slate roof. Like many buildings in Basseterre, it has been rebuilt multiple times, rising from ashes like the mythical Phoenix.
- Government Headquarters - Located on Church Street, this site occupies the land where the Newstead and Waterloo buildings, along with some smaller private residences, once stood.
