Great experience - Well organised by Janeel especially as he specifically organised this hike for me. Picked up as arranged started hike at 10.04 just me and Djae the guide. Up and back by 14.07 although it was hard going was really hot going up and torrential rain coming down. That’s fine as long as you wear walking boots as it can be tricky in parts and very slippery. Djae looked after me and helped me navigate the more difficult spots. Despite the weather I had a great hike quite challenging but worth persevering. Thanks to Janeel, Djae & Wasim.

Worth it!! - This “adventure” was something that tested my limits physically in every single way: let’s not get it twisted, it was rough!!! I know I took a few extra breaks on the way up then they planned but the view at the top was worth it all. I also felt amazing abt myself after we were done too. Sore the next day but an awesome workout, using muscles I don’t use that way in the gym!!!

Challenging but rewarding - A wonderful & amazing experience! This was my first time doing this kind of hike. So glad I did it & didn't chicken out. The guides Janeel & Jamella were awesome. They supported us, encouraged us & helped us navigate the trickier sections of the hike. Be sure to go over the checklist Janeel provides. I highly recommend JB Taxi & Excursions.

Incredible experience - The views from Mt Liamuiga and seeing inside the volcano cauldron were incredible. Janeel and his brother made sure we had an exceptional experience. The hike is challenging with many places where you are climbing over roots and a few scrambles, but Janeel and his brother make the trip doable and safe. The views from the top make it worth it! It took us about 2 hrs to climb up.

Great Hike With Great Guides! - Great experience! Janeel picked us up at the port and got us back in plenty of time to reboard the ship. We are not extreme hikers, so this was a challenge - honestly, one of the hardest things we have ever done. As we reached each of the stops, it was a sense of accomplishment. The view at the top was absolutely amazing!!! Coming back down was just as challenging. Our guides, Janeel and his nephew Elijah, were so encouraging and offered guidance and tips as we moved through the hike. We would not have made it without these great guides! I was ready to give up before the first stop, but Janeel encouraged me to keep going. When I stopped at the bottom of one of the climbs, he told me not to think about, just keep moving. I needed that. Before the hike, Janeel sends a list of items to bring along. Be sure to listen to him - he knows what he is talking about. There is a purpose for every item on the list. If we visit St. Kitts again, we will go with JB Taxi & Excursions for sure.

Beautiful and Challenging - Such an amazing experience! However, it is challenging!!!! I used to do a lot of hiking but, to be honest, have not made fitness a priority in the last few years. Without Janeel’s patience and support, I don’t think I would have made it to the top. He pointed out hummingbirds, monkeys and even pigs in the forrest, making the whole adventure exciting and enjoyable. As others have pointed out, prepare with a good breakfast and lots of water. You cannot go wrong with JB Taxi & Excursions!

MUST DO while in St. Kitts - Janeel is the reason I made it to the top with his patience and kindness. This hike is NO JOKE. Janeel knows every single step your feet should take and even where to put your weight the entire way to the top. EAT YOUR BREAK FAST AND DRINK YOUR WATER this is not for the weak knees! The view and every step there are second to none in scenery, smells, and wild life. This was my favorite part of my trip and cannot wait to return and contact Janeel to show more of beautiful St. Kitts in the future.

À challenging hike of 6 miles return to the accessible top of the volcano ! - À challenging hike to the accessible top of the volcano ! The guides are patient and nice ! We need lots of water since it is very hot and humid !
