Nicolas goes above and beyond! - I originally booked my Bulgaria tour with another provider on TripAdvisor but they cancelled without warning less than 48 hours before the tour (which was scheduled for our last day in Romania). I reached out to Nicolas and he was willing to squeeze us in on short notice! It was an absolute delight having him as a tour guide. We enjoyed how real he is about the history of a place - adding his own knowledge and lived experience to the official history of the place. We grew up Catholic and he took the time to explain the differences between Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity, while highlighting these key features in the monasteries we toured. For lunch, he took us to a restaurant with food so good we were still full 8 hours later! And, to add to all of this, Nicolas was quick to lend my mother euros to purchase a souvenir when she did not have enough cash on her. This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip and I'd recommend Nicolas Adventure Tours to anyone!
