Starting around 8:20 AM (departure times may vary based on the pickup location), this full-day boat excursion begins with a speedboat journey along the Rio Preguiças, taking about 40 minutes to reach the delightful village of Vassouras. In the rainy season, the village boasts deep lagoons ideal for swimming, and the main highlight is the lively capuchin monkeys that reside in the area. The tour then proceeds to the village of Mandacaru, where guests can ascend the Preguiças Lighthouse for breathtaking panoramic views, browse local artisan shops, and savor regional delicacies like caipirinhas and flavored ice creams. The tour concludes at the breathtaking Caburé Beach, a sand peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, providing a unique and scenic landscape.
