Food, Facts and Fun - This tour is a MUST! Carlos the tour guide can speak in both English and Spanish, super helpful. Carlos is knowledgeable about the culture, food, origin stories and area of Barranquilla in general. The greeting Carlos receives from each stop is a testament to the type of person he is and the respect he has for each destination. The food was amazing and the tour of the city was spectacular. Getting a little bit of history on the geographic and landmarks was a welcomed bonus. If you are visiting the city, I highly recommend this tour. Please make sure to communicate with Carlos and I have faith he'll make your experience WONDERFUL!!!

MUST DO for Barranquilla - My tour was lead by Carlos and he's amazing, knowledgeable and speaks damn near perfect English. Carlos organized the tour in a systematic and efficient way to complete a loop passing all the great things with a start and stop at the hotel. The level of knowledge to explain the food/city/cultural history and significance was beyond reproach. At each stop new information in a easily digestible manner was provided. When I come back to Barranquilla...I'll book the same tour with Carlos and would expect to have totally different experiences.

Fun food tour - Great experience! Some things were closed because we were visiting during carnival, but our guide didn’t miss a beat and knew of other great authentic experiences for us to enjoy!

All dressed up and nowhere to go - The food tour guide had an “accident” and canceled on us. We were disappointed. We did not get to experience the tour.

Keep looking: This tour is not worth the price - The tour guide was pleasant. I would not call this a food tour. We had a sampler plate at one restaurant and that was it. Did not taste the different fruits of Colombia, or juices, no pandebono, etc. I have been to different cities of Colombia and like to do the tours to have a guide, see some cool things, and put some pesos in the economy and someone's pocket. This will be my last experience with Gran Colombia Tours. Paid $130 USD for two people and they wanted extra to pickup 20 mins outside the city and let me know the day of the event. Seems more like a way to milk gringoes then anything else.
