The best way to learn about Peru's gastronomy history by tasting some of it! - Our group of 6 joined Arturo our guide and embarked into this wonderful all inclusive food experience tour. We rode on a local bus into another section of town to meet our assigned Tuk Tuk's, where we then started our tour to learn about and taste some of Peru's best down to earth, fresh and local food offers. Arturo accommodated our party needs into his tour, ensuring that we had a pace to fit the group's fitness limitations and food preferences which allowed for a superbly relaxed and enjoyable tour. His selection of stops where he explained in depth about Peru's geographical regions, culture and history, and how they shaped the way Peruvians eat, followed by a lunch stop with a fantastic array of local tasty dishes made for a great culinary and tasty adventure. To close the tour, he walked us thru several areas of town which included some beautiful historic tourist areas, a produce market and then ended with a fantastic tasting of Peruvian chocolate deserts and drinks. This tour went above and beyond our expectations and made for the best experience in Lima during our trip. We highly recommend this tour and Arturo for those visitors who want to learn about Peruvian local dished and history,

Sheyla wonderful guide 🇬🇧❤️ Back back - Sheyla was an amazing guide with a comprehensive knowledge of Peruvian history and cuisine. Our guide had a lovely fun personality and was helpful taking photographs and giving us hints and tips about Lima. The food was absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic introduction to Peru. We enjoyed the fun bonus of a bus trip and tuk tuk ride. We were also interested to learn about Peru ecological aspirations and it was great that Shayla was happy to answer all sorts of questions unrelated to the tour and also showed interest in the UK. Thank you. You were a great ambassador for your company and Peru. We wish you well with your wedding plans regards Kieron & Trudy 🇬🇧 UK

Great experience! - What a great tour! Arturo shared a lot of interesting information both about food and Peru, we really appreciated his expertise. Lunch was at a restaurant we never would have found on our own, the dishes were delicious and plentiful. The bus and the tuk tuk were both a fun adventure. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Excellent way to get to know Peru - Our guide Arturo did an amazing job helping us to understand the Peruvian way of dining. The boys enjoyed touring around in the Tuk Tuks and seeing parts of Lima we hadn't discovered yet. Arturo took us for lunch at a local spot that wasn't a tourist spot to enjoy an authentic Peruvian meal. On top of teaching us about dining in Lima he also offered advice for when we moved on to Cusco and the higher altitudes there. Was a great way to start off our Peruvian adventure and helped make the rest of the trip better by knowing where to go and what to eat.

Absolute blast - This was our first time in Lima, and being from South America we already knew peruvian food, but we felt it'd be a good start for our trip if we took an introductory tour. Didn't really know exactly what to expect when it came to the tour itself, but we were more than pleased with the whole experience. Arturo (our guide) was very punctual, and an absolute delight to tour with. He spoke portuguese very well and language was far from being a barrier to us. He was not only a great tour guide, with a lot of information and insights, but also an overall great company, and very nice guy to have around. The tour itself was super fun and a very comprehensive take on Lima and Peru. The tuk-tuk is an every-day mean of transportation for the people in Lima, and it felt like a very authentic experience to roll around through Chorrillos in one. The food was amazing, the restaurant we were taken to - again - felt very authentic and we could see absolutely no tourists around. We had causa, ceviche and a serve of makis covered in rocoto that were to die for. All of that accompanied by a jar of very nice (the best we had in Lima) Chicha Morada. I tried very hard to think of any criticism or improvement points, but failed to do so. This is a must do while in Lima. Helpful tips: the meal was very generous, so have a light breakfast on the day of the tour. Remember to bring water so you don't have to stop to get it, the tour is long. Bring some money for tips, there's a chance you'll find the Fraile taking his leap, and that guys deserves some money. Be generous when tiping! It's a hell of a work done by the tour guides, they deserve it!
