Must Go! - Wow! This tour is an absolute must. Alvaro was an amazing guide. My group was so impressed with his attention to detail, preparation, and surprise. Highly recommend!

I'd do it again - do not hesitate to join this trip! - I highly recommend Alvaro/SAFFO and his tour to the beaches and Telegrafo. Organisation and atmosphere were sublime and he managed to make us feel like good colleagues in no time. Lots of "surprises" on the ride, but first and foremost a fantastic glimpse of what "old Rio" was like.

Pedra do Telégrafo - Alvaro deserves all the applause, we didn't catch any queues, we didn't pass any difficulty on anything, the tour is a real experience from start to finish!
It is simply the best ride in the river, in my opinion! He is very careful with people, the car is very comfortable, the stops are great, there is nothing to complain about! Note 1.000000000000000

Experience from 10 and praise! - One of the best hikes we've done. Alvaro is an exquisite person, polite, nice and above all professional. His car is a walking house, super organized with Wi-Fi in the car, shower, battery charger, go pro, camera. Super patient and all day with a smile. He arranged for a group of outsiders made up of Venezuelans, Americans, English and Italians to become a family for a day. When a person does their job with passion, the results are excellent! Bravo Alvaro and thank you for the beautiful day you put us through, Without your professionalism, kindness, preparation and organization, it would not have been the same.

Saffo's Tour is One of a Kind! - Jeep Tour / Telegraph Hike with Saffo was one of the best tours I have been on by far. This tour takes you outside the tourist zone to enjoy local areas nearby. I really enjoyed his peaceful energy and thoughtful touches throughout the tour. He definitely prepares you in advance for the tour so you know what to expect. The small group size enhances the experience as well. We all arrived as strangers and left as a blended family. Book his tour in advance because if you wait until the last minute there may not be any availability.

A Different side of Rio - From start to finish this tour is hands down one of the very best I’ve done. If you’re in Rio you simply have to do it.
Alvaro the guide is a great guy and has planned for every scenario, with loads of surprises added.
Special mention to the other guests on the tour who made a great day even more memorable.

A truely memorable day - This was Alvaro's 400th tour! He really looked after us for the day, sharing his experiences of the beaches and reaching the Telegraph Stone at the best time of the day. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite tours/experiences EVER - Alvaro was one of the most attentive, knowledgeable, and prepared hosts I’ve ever had traveling! He always had surprised around every turn and exposure to all different historical and cultural experiences. He even prepared local flavors for us here and there. He on top of it all a very professional and experienced photographer. We were his 400th tour hike! Over all that time you could tell he has refined his craft. I HIGHLY recommend an experience with him. You will not be sorry.
