Montserrat - no-one should miss it - On 30 December 2023, my husband and I travelled with Viator on a half-day trip from Barcelona to Monserrat (small group of 8 private tour). Monserrat is a magical place that no-one visiting Barcelona should miss. Magical because of its landscape, its history, its architecture, its spiritual significance. Our tour guide Javi was excellent - very professional, helpful, knowledgeable, lots of fun with a good sense of humour. The only downside of the tour was the mini bus. We were the last couple to be picked up from our hotel so we had the front seat next to the driver -- normally that would be great but this seat is far too small for 2 people -- my poor husband felt very squashed and uncomfortable -- a real dappener on an otherwise amazing day. This isn't the tour guide's fault -- Viator should invest more in providing a comfortable vehicle for ALL its passengers. Perhaps we mayn't go with viator again if it can't provide 2 normal size seats for 2 normal-sized people instead of 1-1.5 size seats for 2 people! On returning to Barcelona, I inadvertently left a small bag at the bag of the vehicle -- and was delighted to receive an sms from Javi that he had returned it to our hotel reception. I hadn't yet noticed that I had left it behind. Thanks again, Javi!

Wonderful experience! - We were so pleased that we chose this tour. Francesc was a wealth of information, and he made sure that our tour was absolutely everything that we wanted it to be. He and our driver Jordi even picked us up early so that we could beat the crowds. The views and the monastery alike are unforgettable.

Alber our guide was the best! - We had our guide, Alber, for two days. Day 1 was Parc Guelle and Sagrada Familia and Day 2 was 1/2 day to Montserrat and a Cava tour and tasting. He was exceptional!!! Knowledgable is an understatement - he can talk about anything and has deep understandings about the culture and influences of it all. He handled our group of 19 with expertise, with ages from 11 to 83 that's quite a challenge. I would recommend him with 100% confidence. As for the company, bookings were great and the busses clean and nice, with excellent and accommodating drivers. Thanks, Alber!!!! The Larrauri's
