Depending on the schedule, lunch comprises a tastefully coordinated tasting menu either hosted at a winery or a local traditional eatery featuring local wines. The Priorat Wine tours offer a stellar chance to enrich your personal wine library with unique varieties that might be hard or costly to source from outside the Priorat or Spain.

Wine with a View - Visited three interesting wineries about 2 hours away from Barcelona. Anthony was a wonderful tour guide. Enjoyed amazing views of the mountains and quaint villages with rich history. A relaxing day but very hot (July!! We knew it would be) as we sat outside for tastings and hiked through a vineyard. Wear comfortable shoes for a rocky hike at one winery.

Not your average wine tour - we visited 3 wineries in the area. first one we toured the vineyards and had the tasting in their fermenting room. the second one we toures their cellar and had the tasting in their restaurant where we had lunch, and the last one was the best where we tasted their wines in the middle of the vineyard with beutiful views.

You gotta go to Priorat! - This is one of the most amazing wine regions in Spain. Spanish Trails took us to three different wineries for three different experiences - and the wine was all fantastic, the wineries authentic and not commercial. We also stopped in a village on the way there for snacks to enjoy at the first winery; it felt like going back in time. We took this tour back in 2016 and loved it so much we did it again in 2024. It did not disappoint. And our guide Anthony was terrific.

Amazing experience! - The priorat wine tour was such a unique experience. Anthony was very knowledgeable and friendly as he drove us to three outstanding vineyards. The group was small and the visits private so you are able to really get to personal with each vineyard. This is a must if staying in the Barcelona area! Thank you Anthony for giving us a time we will never forget!

Delicious wine in a beautiful place - We had a great day with Anthony. The ride to and from Barcelona was about 2 hours but it was comfortable. All 3 wineries were unique, I made some dog friends at one, enjoyed some lovely food at another and drank wine amongst the vines at the third. All the wine was delicious and we even had some shipped home. Overall it was great personalized experience. Anthony was friendly and attentive.

Disheartening experience with Spanish Trails Co. - This company is terrible. They cancelled my tour because they wanted me to join another group 3 days later. They cancelled the tour via email the night before. If I had not looked at my email I would have shown up to my tour. They had contacted me via WhatsApp to so me to change and when I answered they never replied. They did not have the decency to alert me of the cancellation via WhatsApp so it could come in as a message. Very disheartening
