Afterwards, explore the cellar to learn about their precise winemaking techniques before indulging in a tasting of their sophisticated, full-bodied wines.
• Clos Figueras - Clos Figueras is the second of the three outstanding wineries included in this day trip.

As you travel from Barcelona to Priorat, admire the striking terraces of vines etched into the hillsides and listen to your guide’s introduction to the area. Known for its premium quality, the area’s rich and full-bodied wines are produced under challenging growing conditions and require labor-intensive harvesting, with most grapes handpicked.

After visiting a small local winery to sample your first three Priorat varietals of the day, proceed to Clos Figueres winery, managed by Christopher Cannan, a trailblazing Priorat winemaker. Discover how the wine is crafted from old vine grapes, without the use of insecticides or other chemicals, and enjoy a traditional 3-course lunch paired with their wines.

• Celler Devinssi - Then, continue to the delightful village of Gratallops to visit Celler Devinssi, a boutique winery nestled in the heart of Priorat. Weather permitting, savor a memorable wine tasting amidst the vineyards, surrounded by stunning hilltop vistas. Learn about their artisanal winemaking process and sample a selection of their refined, limited-production wines.
