Best food tour ever! - I highly recommend this tour! I felt like I had made a new friend in Barcelona and we were out enjoying a lovely evening restaurant hopping. The guide was not just an expert on the local tap scene, but also gave us a lot of cool information about the neighborhoods. We were walking through. She was flexible with our time and menu choices. Again, I highly recommend this tour, especially if you want a small intimate experience with a real local.

Wonder evening of Tapas and great fellowship. - Lorea was a fantastic host. She did a wonderful job of quickly recognizing the types of foods and the amount of food to order. Wow. Just wow does not fully describe this tour. It is very personal, with a wide variety of foods with full explanation of the history. I wish I could put into words how wonderful this event was. I provide the highest recommendation to this event. Great job!!!

We got a wonderful taste of Spanish culture, great conversation and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our teenagers had a great time too! Thank you, Esther!

Fabulous Food Tour in Barcelona - We enjoyed two different types of food, one more seafood - dog fish and cuttle fish and one one more meat based with oxtail and pork. Everything was delicious and there was lots of food. The wine pairings were perfect and plentiful. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Discovering Catalonian delights - It was our first time visiting Europe. Our wish was to experience the culture of Spain that is outside of the tourist locations. Through "The Barcelona Taste" and their guide Sandra we were able to experience real Spain, real Barcelona, and real Catalonian cuisine. We discovered how history intertwined with food and taste delicious, Catalonian cuisine. I highly recommend "The Barcelona Taste" and the great tour guide, Sandra.

A highlight of our trip to Barcelona. A must do!!! - This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Tito, our guide, knew food and wine very well, is a native of Barcelona, was very personable, and is a wonderful guide. I recommend doing this tour as early in your stay as possible to give yourself time to go back to the restaurants. I cannot recommend this tour enough. I would go again in a heartbeat. This tour is so good that we even had a Rick Steves editor on our tour! We actually discovered the tour company from the Rick Steves Barcelona guide book. The small group size made this tour really fun. A “must do” on your trip to Barcelona!

Highlight of Barcelona with local guide - This was our highlight of Barcelona. After a tiring week of touring southern Spain, this relaxed eating tour was exactly what we needed. Maria, our guide, was great! We were very lucky to end up just my husband and I and her. Right from the start, she made us feel comfortable and welcome... we were very tired and worried we wouldn't want to finish the full tour initially. The three locations were close to each other and we stayed to have 2-3 items each time, paired with wine. Very relaxing and wonderful food! We were definitely full by the end. Our favorites were the Pa amb Tomaquet (rubbing garlic and tomato on bread!) and the artichoke with smoked tuna. The restaurants were all small and local... the owners knew Maria and had the table, food and drinks ready for us immediately. (Good tables, too.) Maria was a local and had lots of interesting information on living in Barcelona... so important, I feel, to have a local, not someone that just moved there. Highly recommend!

Informative, delicious and thoroughly enjoyable - Six of us joined Lorea for this tour, and it was not only the culinary highlight of the two weeks we spent in Spain, but also informative and enormously fun. Lorea, who is from Northern Spain, was thoughtful, generous, energetic and full of knowledge about Spanish history, culture and particularly food and drink. We went to three terrific tapas spots, all different from one another, in a less-touristed part of Barcelona. Every bite and sip was delicious. We felt well introduced to a variety of Spanish culinary traditions.
