Actual cooking! Tasty sangria! - Maria was a great, friendly, knowledgeable guide (and Nestor the chef helper guy was very nice). The tour of the market is really just getting to the one stand and learning a bit about how to pick your seafood. Really cool to walk through the market though. Then it’s a bit of walk to the kitchen. The experience once there was excellent! The only thing we’d change is adding air conditioning - it was warm from the start. Getting to make the sangria and learning how to do it the traditional way over night was really interesting. Plus, you get a good amount of sangria! Then it’s on to the cooking, which is very hands on and awesome. We even learned how to deconstruct a squid (calamari). So nuts! The dessert cake at the end was also delicious! Highly recommend this experience.

Fun evening. - What a very fun market trip and paella cooking class. I’ve made paella quite a few times but learned several new tips. We also mixed our own sangria to have with a couple of tapas before the cooking began. My husband and I did this with our 18-year old granddaughter. A wonderful experience for all three of us.
