Excursie la Montsserat - Everything was wonderful! Starting with the reservation, the email communication, the meeting at the Julia Travel headquarters. The trip was on 25.08.2025. We had the pleasure of being in the company of Sandra, the guide who charmed me with all her knowledge and who explained so beautifully the past and present history of this unique place - Montserrat!

Highly recommended - Our experience to Monserrat was awesome. It was our first time to Barcelona and I was sure about the whole process. The ladies at the desk were wonderful and very helpful. Our guide Shara was incredible. Answered everyone’s questions. And thanks to Alex, our bus driver, thank you for comfortable and safe ride.

Great option for anyone! - Absolutely amazing experience. If you’re coming to Barcelona, even if it’s for a day, please add this to your itenenary. The afternoon option was perfect for us and the guides(Julia and Elon?) were just fantastic. They are effortlessly bilingual and added depth to an already amazing location.

Not enough time - Montserrat is absolutely gorgeous, but we did not have enough time for the included activities. Our tour included priority access to the Black Madonna, three other admissions, and a wine tasting, but we spent almost all our time in a long line to view the Black Maddona. This left a half hour of free time for the other included entries and to walk around. Unfortunately, we only had time to walk around a bit and return to the tour bus. My suggestion is to better set expectations for the Black Maddona viewing and allow tour participants to opt out if the priority access lines are long. We paid a lot of money to stand in line for most of the tour.

The monetary was... - The monestary was beautiful and seeing the black Madonna was a moving experience. The girls working the desk at Julia travel were not nice (mean to people on multiple occasions). The bus’ ac was not very good. The funicular ride and monastery were great, travel company was not. I would try and find a driver to take you privately.

Save Your Money and Time - A waste of time and money. Trying to find the meeting place was a joke by us and others. The tour guide really had nothing to offer and most of his talk was in Spanish. We would urge u to find a different meeting place. We are not sure based on today’s fiasco whether we’ll ever book another tour with Viator

The time was very... - The time was very limited. We were not able to do anything else. We were told that we will have ample of time on our own, but we were only given 15 mins that too we had to walk to the bus. We barely had time to buy some cheese cake and run to the bus. We wanted to take cable car and go on top Of the hill but we couldn’t. We had tickets to try liquor but we didn’t have time to Try that either.
