Requires walking shoes... - Requires walking shoes for the downhill hike.
Winding roads on the journey up and down the mountain.

Beautiful views - Beautiful location! Worth the trip for the experience. It is an easy hike, but note it is mostly downhill and uses muscles you may not normally use!

Montserrat- spectacular! - David was our fantastic host with the most! Energetic, genuinely caring and knowledgeable, he was a pleasure to have as a guide. Our whole trip from start to finish was as good as promised, from the meet up point to Montserrat , the morning spent at Montserrat , and then the drive back to Barcelona.
The views were spectacular, and the actual activity offered a good range of interest, from cheese tasting to learning all about the history of the area. The cable car ride was also amazing as too the wonderful hike back to the village . In all, well worth doing!

A favorite day in Barcelona! - Such a fantastic experience! This was our family’s favorite thing we did in Barcelona! James, our guide was a fantastic host! He was waiting for us exactly at the meeting point right on time and got us back right on schedule! You can tell James loves being a guide.
We brought our family with three children ages 15, 13 and 11. James was a wonderful driver and host to the entire group.
The day at the monastery was unbelievably beautiful. James got us on location quickly and efficiently and was able to provide history on the area. We then enjoyed a lovely cable car ride and hike down the mountain. James took fabulous pictures of our family for us and even offered for me to borrow his hiking sticks to hike down the mountain as I had some knee trouble. That didn’t stop me from enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the views at the top of the mountains.
It was a great tour and if you have time it would be a great addition to your Barcelona itinerary.

Must visit when in Barcelona - Friendly,Knowledgeable tour guide made our experience super. Sights visited were excellent and scenery breath-taking. The hike to the monastery was a great experience for me and the family.

An unforgetable experience! - A great tour! It was lovely to see Montserrat via this tour. Our mini bus pick up was easy and our driver was great! It is a short drive into the mountains to Montserrat. Our guide gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. Once we rode the cable car up to the top, our guide did a great job of pointing out interesting things as well as taking photos of our group for us. He was great!

Decent. - It was 'ok.' Light on history. I fundamentally believe that Barcelona is so crowded and there is so much demand for tours, that the tour companies are just throwing bodies at the problem. They are not using professional tour guides or docents.
