Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime day trip to Montserrat from Barcelona and explore Catalonia’s most famous mountain range.

Take in the panoramic views of the mountain scenery as you ride our air-conditioned bus and discover the history of its medieval monastery by the hand of our passionate guides. Then, enjoy free time to explore on your own.

You’ll continue towards a beautiful boutique winery, and you are in for a treat! The cellar also happens to be a 10th century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations with magnificent views of the mountain you just visited. Discover their revival of ancient local grape varieties, which provide a unique glimpse into the region’s rich heritage.

Savour traditional flavors with a light tapas brunch or enjoy a multi-course traditional lunch at the winery (depending on the option selected). After that, learn about the wine-making process, and enjoy a wine-tasting session before traveling back to Barcelona.

• Tour starts at 8:45 a.m. Please arrive at the meeting point 20 min before the start of the tour
• There is a limit of 20 people per guide, although transportation will be shared with other groups.
• Please note that we reserve the right to modify itinerary if considered necessary.
• Chance to see La Moreneta, Montserrat’s black Madonna, and attending the Boys’ Choir act (Optional under previous reservation through Montserrat’s official website and subject to Montserrat’s availability. Not included within the price of the Tour). Please note that the Boys’ Choir doesn’t perform on Saturdays, school holidays and several other dates throughout the year.
• We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.
• Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved.
• Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly. We advise bringing water, especially in the summer season.  
• Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge, but note that no car seat or meals are provided.
• If you have reduced mobility, please contact us before booking. We do our best to welcome everyone on board!
• We cater for any dietary allergies or restrictions – no need to warn us beforehand.
• Please note that we reserve the right to modify itinerary if considered necessary. Please notify us if you are interested in hearing the boys’ choir during this experience.
